That would work, because big hits need to rebound slower to dissipate energy slower, whereas lots of small hits need faster rebound because even though there is less energy stored, you need all your suspension travel for each hit and to do that you need it to rebound faster @Typhlosion130
then you need to put Spring strength down a bit more because it is not soaking up enough energy. It could also be because your shocks are not rebounding fast enough and you're hitting bumps while they're still compressed @Typhlosion130
You sure?
Set spring strength to minimum and it will collapse
Set damping to minimum and spring to max and it will bounce
Set spring strength to whatever it needs to be so you have 20% sag and give it high or max damping and I guarantee it will be almost perfect
@Typhlosion130
I think what's happening when the wheel suspension is bouncing is that it bottoms out permanently from the weight and then it has a heap of stored energy. Maybe the wheel suspension is not strong enough on this truck? It worked with my lightweight buggy anyway @Typhlosion130
it makes it a LOT better actually cos damping is what STOPS it from bouncing. Take off the suspension on this and you'll see what I mean @Typhlosion130
Why are cars with no suspension getting the best times? Pretty sure simple planes physics doesn't do suspension that well cos to get it to work right you just put strength and damping to max and that just ain't right
@davet3 check out this suspension. Ive learned everything i know about suspension from mountain biking so i thought why not put it on a car and it actually worked pretty good.
Yeah it's pretty cool, but can't the model replica go big boom boom? Then it would be a true replica in fact. All you have to do is fill it with boom 50s @pixelconcqueror
Sorry, the suspension simply isn't strong enough for this heavy beast and it goes out of control with that engine. I think I'll make my own suspension, but do you mind if I keep the thing you added on the front? I'll credit you and it'll be a successor of this post probably
Makes sense that your car needs suspension on the road. Would you take a car with no suspension on an interstate highway? That'd be a bumpy ride
That would work, because big hits need to rebound slower to dissipate energy slower, whereas lots of small hits need faster rebound because even though there is less energy stored, you need all your suspension travel for each hit and to do that you need it to rebound faster @Typhlosion130

@Typhlosion130
Read this @Typhlosion130
Must be different on cars then cos it's different for MTB @Typhlosion130
I'll just turn off wheel suspension cos it just causes issues with heavy vehicles
Wrong way round, damping slows down the rebound and Spring strength makes the spring stronger @Typhlosion130
I think what's happening when the wheel suspension is bouncing is that it bottoms out permanently from the weight and then it has a heap of stored energy. Maybe the wheel suspension is not strong enough on this truck? It worked with my lightweight buggy anyway @Typhlosion130
I do think it stops it from bouncing a little but not much @Typhlosion130
Oh, yea the weel oops my bad @Typhlosion130
it makes it a LOT better actually cos damping is what STOPS it from bouncing. Take off the suspension on this and you'll see what I mean @Typhlosion130
Oh yea, I put that in as well cos from my experimentation it helps it a little but maybe not that much @Typhlosion130
Downforce and no suspension simply does not work on a SAM truck drone thingy @Typhlosion130
Also, I prefer suspension and big wings with dihedral to no suspension and downforce even if it doesn't go as fast. @Typhlosion130
Actually, I made that suspension myself, but yours are better and I'll use them for the next one @Typhlosion130
So is this an extra island you can travel to, or does it replace the normal maps?
Thanks! @SimpleEric
@Typhlosion130 how about this suspension?

@Scorpio228 you may be interested in this
Well, fair enough, it seems to work @HelpDesk7
@Scorpio228 you may be interested in this...
Feedback on this new suspension design would be much appreciated:)

@Scorpio228 check this out

I think it does have suspension if you look closely, but it's pretty small @Typhlosion130
Daymn that engine must way a lot
Australia's another 2 hours ahead of you guys with gmt +10 @Alienbeef0421
Thanks! @DownUnderWing
Thanks!
@DownUnderWing
@Supercraft888
Thanks! @DownUnderWing
@Alienbeef0421 thanks
Like a Cessna 337
Wheels don't have to be put on rotators btw
Wonder what the next tournament will be? Gliders? Gold Prix? Drag race? Something else entirely? @AndrewGarrison
Edit: I won three rounds until I got to you
Yeah it's pretty cool, but can't the model replica go big boom boom? Then it would be a true replica in fact. All you have to do is fill it with boom 50s @pixelconcqueror
But does it go big boom boom? Need big boom boom!
Good job! No idea how you did that with this thing no offence. it wasn't as if you even had advanced suspension...
@Typhlosion you crashed in one round, but you easily beat me in the other two. I won two rounds until I got to you
Bit late for testing. The deadlines in 3 hours @Alienbeef0421
Started testing yet?
Thanks, it was pretty obvious and I feel stupid now. I've made that mistake before actually @davet3
Looks cool, and I'm sorry I need help but.... My truck don't work

Awesome @mustafanaveed
What do the missiles and bombs do? Didn't see them in the description
Might get around to it...
