    @BlackhattAircraft i just picked a plane that was at the top of my list, which happened to be a design I first made 3+ years ago, I did start to make a conversion to the new fuselage blocks, I'm mainly asking about the thick wings.

    oh man i didnt know that worked.. I simply set one of the decorative cockpits to primary and it works, without the vtols even attached to the airframe itself... and now i have a "plane" that is doing over 2100mph at sea level! lol and the rockets too, thanks for that I always figured that the plane didnt work without the cockpit attached to the engines!

    I do have another question though, the part the stays on the ground with all the engines.. can i get it to be the primary fuel source as its trying to feed off the plane itself which doesnt have much fuel on board

    @Thehtmguy any uploaded successors of this design gets refered back to here anyway. AND this is now included as a stock aircraft in the game called "Biplane". All it takes is someone to play around with that stock plane and upload it and it will be posted as a successor to this design. Hence my just uploaded "uber Biplane" which was just me being bored and bolting a ton of jets onto the standard design

    @davidpbj its certainly not easy i'll admit, I should ask if you are on a mobile or if on PC do you have a joystick. I couldnt see it working in any capacity with keyboard controls. I might add that to the description

    @Bando89 hey i do have a bunch of those on the nose and tail also on the wingtips for roll stability. the rcn's were the only thing letting me manage to make the vertical take off. Its just during the transition the backflip tendancy vastly overpowers any effect of flight controls/rcn nozzles

    i have found the ai wont spawn a vast many planes in my collection, and it is almost exclusively just planes i have made. I have to tell it to manually spawn my b-50 bomber which i will, but when its random all i get is - my very first delta attempt, the tutorial plane, "enemy", or my modified "twin prop". I have countless designs that arent insane that should/could be loaded but i never see them

    @kikasshes ooh i just dont have the fine touch /smile I love what you did to it. is the XML stuff hard to learn, do you need special software to do it? i really should google all this i bet. I like the blended rear landing gear too all up its a sweet looking piece of work, i'd give you another +1 if i could!

    VERY shiny, the old bird buffs up nicely when given the correct tender loving care! do you use the xml modding thing to do those finer details, like the centerline gun (i LOVE that!) and the hidden rotators?

    @kikasshes after i left my comment i totally went off and toyed with my design i changed the wing layout a bit removed the rear elevators and tried those cool little rotators but you know what i didnt do, i didnt rotate the rotator lol. that edit you did made it SO stable and smooth compared to my edit last night - how can i give you a vote up for awesomeness??

    @kikasshes i tried those it does seem to pitch better with the all moving canards, i totaly didnt know about the small rotators, very handy they will be. Do you know what i am doing wrong the cause the elevators on the back to "nose down" yet still generate a nose up effect? If im flying any of my regular wings + tailplane designs and the elevators do what they do here, my plane dives. has me totally stumped. If im using canards do i even need rear elevators?

    please tell me i dont need to log into the steam client to play/access the update. It has been historically buggy and glitchy and borderline impossible to run. Constant updates for random irrelevant free games, updating that doesnt even work, often times demanding a boot up in safe mode. I have had an appalling experience with steam and would rather avoid it and not have no choice bu to use it or opt out of future product updates

    @Arcadia still hopefully they can find a way to make all the things run good for everyone, regardless of platform. That said they have improved alot though i used to lag myself with my own early monsters, and i have 16g ram and a 4g graphics card lol

    @Mrwhiskers85 oh wow i just found your scissor wing design and it is indeed the same concept, mine appears to be a much larger/more powerful design but the wings sure look the same, great minds! My little drone thing is air droppable too like yours. I had 2 launching off my B-50 design. Now if only there was a "level stabiliser" type deal where i could fix a plane to fly straight and level so i could then pilot the drone without the carrier going off and crashing lol

    @Arcadia hey are you using the game on a pc or a mobile device, i only use pc so im unable to factor in any processing differences. Maybe the devs are working on a way to streamline larger planes for device users so theres no more lags /smile

    @karlosdarkness thanks, the bomb bays not as pretty as others out there but it opens and thats all i ever wanted from it /smile

    PS i have begun work on a new project, it again involves rotators, needless to say im going to have to build big to get it flying though

    @karlosdarkness well i figured it out, my payload bay doors arent as uber slick as the ones on that bomber mk 3 but they work, functioning bomb bay doors complete with 500 pound bombs on jettison able racks. All i can say is it looks AMAZING. I added all this only my XB-50 plane shall i upload the updated model? /smile

    @karlosdarkness ok thats very interesting i went back into the bomber here and checked out the parts on its bay doors, each rotator has 4 wafer thin fuselage pieces 0.7 wide and 0.7 high with a length of 0.05. I dont have the capacity to set those dimensions, i cant click in the field and type in random numbers and the only increments i get for wide/high is 0.5 and 0.25 for length. Do you have any idea how to adjust dimensions on those sorts of scale? is it a modded component perhaps?

    so i have been working on a revision of my xb-50 project, i have managed to add a space for a bomb bay and i have worked out how to place roators (in a separate build so as to not wreck my plane) but i've hit a wall i canf figure out how to attach doorish panels to the rotator and youtube/google offers nothing in advice /sigh. Is there a resource that has pointers on this sort of finer stuff?

    @karlosdarkness im only a rookie at this sort of thing lol, I have only made like 10 planes total since i first got the game lol. Is there a way to make functioning doors and hollow cavities in a plane?
