You sort of skipped a step in giving the credit.
The old Transportation vehicle is what I based my vehicle off of, which is what he based his vehicle off of, which this is based off of.

After my bi-plane dogfight challenge finishes. What's really funny is I was actually driving this around in multiplayer earlier today.

Looking and exploring for yourself teaches you much better than someone just saying go do this this this
When you build a plane and are finished and satisfied with the final product, you share/upload it, make sure to take a good picture to get attention to the build, make sure to make a good description telling how the plane flies, drives or floats. Tell a story on why you made it or just make something up.
Don't copy other people's planes, Everybody is watching, Everybody Knows.
This is a really tight-knit community. We all look out for each other.
It takes time, eventually you'll get followers, eventually you will get people liking your stuff and giving you upvotes. Plus it all takes time for you to become a really good Builder.
Give other people upvotes, surf this website often, comment, become people's friends and then you will get Followers and upvotes.
This is the social part of the game.
@Echo77 also since you are on Windows go to the mods page if you haven't discovered it yet. And get fine tuner, overload, smoke trails, land of mass is fun, Interstate, armor, minimap, music replacer and any other mod that catches your fancy if you have any questions go ahead and let me know. If you are on Steam you need to open with Steam bootstrapper.
@RedstoneAeroAviation and also one of the razor's needs to be clicked back one tenth of a percent on the cones because in first person it makes it look like it's not there.
@RedstoneAeroAviation yeah I noticed that too on further playing after I uploaded it. Probably just needs to be unclipped and then clicked back into place
@RedstoneAeroAviation most of my older ones I built on an Android tablet so they can be played on your phone. It's just the newer ones that I moved to PC that when I went crazy on parts.
My best advice is to download other planes and vehicles and take them apart and see how they work "oh that's how they did that"
The main point is to try to improve yourself as a builder and build better and better builds. Eventually.
Make sure to go into people's profiles click on posts and look through their past planes/builds.
Don't copy other peoples planes and just add a few parts and then publish them that's a No-No. (And there is always someone watching)
If you're going to use somebody else's build make a vast Improvement.
But saving parts of a plane into sub-assemblies is fine. And then you use the parts on your own builds.

I know that you said no mods, but SMOKE? Seriously can we have smoke. Everyone should have smoke seeing as it is on all platforms already. (it should be in the game in the next update. RE. @AndrewGarrison)
Oh and as to my second comment. Rick Astley is the patron saint of simpleplanes. Because of his song never gonna to Give You Up there is even a tag in the SP website named Rick that you can label a plane "that will never give you up." So when somebody posts the video at you, like I just did, it's called being "RickRolled"
