@Mustang51 yep agreed
the problem with this is that lights are boolean, whereas i need it to be non-boolean if that makes sense.
if there was the ability to have a variable input then this would be so much easier but no simpleplanes isn't that simple
ok first off thank you @Mustang51 for the spotlight, i definitely do not deserve it lol, this is pretty basic and i could do much better now
secondly, @Neruneten21 this system is a bit out of date and i have had ideas for new and better systems which look perform better. though unfortunately like most things, more parts
@Mustang51 honestly fair lol
i'm coping i guess, i've kind of sat back for a bit and learnt a bunch about the game because i figured out all my builds suck.
the yak i posted is kind of a step in the right direction but i've learnt so much even from then. so sp wise i'm enjoying the game a bunch
Absolute nationalist over here but also Australia had their Air Force in Korea
We flew meteors as ground support, along with some mustangs I believe. Australia’s last live air to air kill was achieved in 1952 (I think) by an F.8 meteor
due date?
also your rules are very off
you're basically saying i can make an f-86 that can't be supersonic in a dive because it didn't have a/b
i also would like to know whether replicas are possible because you need either x6 .50s or x4 20s which the mig-15 and other russian fighters never qualified for
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes
i'd argue the quality has decreased, 7 years ago we had nothing to work with, which is how paneling became a thing.
there was much more creativity, most builds actually had a somewhat okay flight model. now most builds drop like a brick or do 20 loops in a second
@Dragoranos right okay
I just find it’s easier to be specific than presume. Because I could build an f-86 that performs realistically and then get disqualified as a result
oh also your rules are a bit weird, the f-86, and arguably mig-15, could go supersonic.
f-86 could pull out of a supersonic dive, but the mig couldn't due to its non all-flying tail.
this might have something, not sure though
The super fortress would’ve been similar to the Flying Fortress, it’s got similar crew positioning so I’d look at all the doors onboard to sort of guess where bailouts would occur
Perfectly fine
Id make another version without all the startups though.
My reasoning for this is that there’s still a large group of people who play for looks not for the game they literally paid for.
My only concern with builds like this is performance cost, it’s pretty hard to run this stuff on a mobile phone, which is a large percentile of the community.
WNP is correct
@Mustang51 agreed

@Neruneten21 sure, it is outdated however so i'd only use it for a flat surface
i need to make a curved on thanks to slicing being a thing

@Mustang51 thank you!
@Mustang51 haha thanks but i wouldn't say that, before they were very rough, not really smooth, flew poorly, and didn't use any techniques i know now.
+1genius!

wait so it must be under 50 parts, but it's a 50 part challenge

@Dragoranos right okay
I just find it’s easier to be specific than presume. Because I could build an f-86 that performs realistically and then get disqualified as a result
I mean it’s because high point users aren’t making challenges much anymore
+2Plus the quality of builds has declined a lot, which is probably why.

@RocketguyFORUMS oh it wasn't my idea it was CL125's but I know someone who's working on a really cool project which involves such...
@PlaneFlightX it’s more so whether you can run high performance cost AI planes zooming around or not.
@CL125 the payload they drop is water
Therefore they bomb water
Therefore water bomber
@Default4 try me lol I could easily manage to get it over 150
