    Welcome back, bro. Regarding your question, it's because I successfully won a challenge and received over 30 votes.

    @TheUltimatePlaneLover I previously believed that this aircraft could have the same maneuverability as the T-3, but later I found out that in actual machine gun dogfights, the angle of attack of this aircraft was between 18 and 25 degrees, at the edge of stall, making it a bit difficult to control. Moreover, the excessively high angle of attack results in worrying energy storage and a significant decrease in speed during turns.
    After modification, the angle of attack of this aircraft was maintained at around 15 to 18 degrees, but its maneuverability decreased. This resulted in it being bitten by all other planes except for crushing the fighter bomber in the dogfight of the same class fighter jet as me.
    To be honest, this aircraft will stall sooner or later after further modifications. Then I decided to refer to how the US Air Force and Navy modified the F-5E and FA-18E with wing shapes similar to theirs. It was found that the original design concept of the former was low wing area and high wing load. From my observation, wing load is a very important parameter in SP, and the lower the maneuverability, the better. This design makes it difficult to expand the wing area of this aircraft, and the F18E's maneuverability upgrade mainly focuses on increasing the wing area.
    And this aircraft has a small volume, making it difficult to support more significant modifications. So I think the design of this aircraft determines that its upper limit of maneuverability is insufficient.

    @TheUltimatePlaneLover em… Bro, maybe you are right

  • YF-28A Lackey 1.4 years ago

    @TheUltimatePlaneLover F-33J. Received, thank you.
    Regarding the warning you raised to me, thank you for your reminder. In fact, this is indeed a hassle, and I have been making modifications for a long time. But don't worry too much, even at this stage, its maneuverability is comparable to the T-3.

  • YF-28A Lackey 1.4 years ago

    @TheUltimatePlaneLover When I first saw this plane, I couldn't evaluate it, because I didn't know where to roast first.
    Actually, the most important issue is still about rolling. Although this aircraft cleverly uses a cylinder as the control surface and adjusts its speed to 100%, there are still issues with delayed control, which can easily cause excessive rolling and significantly reduce the aircraft's pointing ability.
    There is also an issue with the air intake. To be honest, this air intake seems strange to me because the upward opening of the intake has a problem of insufficient air intake during large maneuvers. I have only seen this design on B2 bombers and some bizarre aircraft.
    The other issues are relatively easy to handle, and in a nutshell, the potential is very high, far from reaching its limit. If there is really no idea, you can refer to the upgrade content of FA-18E.
    By the way, after I complete the renovation, what model should I name it?

  • YF-28A Lackey 1.4 years ago

    @TheUltimatePlaneLover I am currently planning modifications to the F-33A. I noticed that you seem to be planning an upgrade as well, but there is no way to start. I remember when this plane was first released, I forgot to express my opinion. Is it still possible to make up for it now?

    @TheUltimatePlaneLover I am glad to hear that, thanks bro. But in fact, this was a long time ago unfinished work because I was very busy at that time. The original plan was to build an AI fighter jet, and I had already made it, but I didn't have time to save it, so I had to cancel it.

  • Losers and victors 1.4 years ago

    To be honest, manufacturing missiles is much easier than manufacturing fighter jets, all you need to do is change the XML. This is actually very unfair to fighter jets. I think you can either dismantle both missiles and only engage in machine gun dogfights; Or you can unify the missile types and decoy of both sides

  • Losers and victors 1.4 years ago

    …Leaving aside the PZL153 itself, what do you mean by the comparison of fighter jets? In fact, the reasons summarized are all missiles, not fighter jets themselves?

  • PX-9N Starlight (Upgradation) 1.4 years ago

  • PX-9N Starlight (Upgradation) 1.4 years ago

    @STEAMYcrosby what?

  • PX-9N Starlight (Upgradation) 1.4 years ago

    @STEAMYcrosby Wait a minute, bro. To ensure the fairness of the competition, I should also be eligible to see your plane. But I found one of them, and where are the two planes?

  • PX-9N Starlight (Upgradation) 1.4 years ago

    @STEAMYcrosby Fine, I agree. Please remember to tell me the result

    @TheUltimatePlaneLover Yeah, bro, and your A-40C is also excellent! To be honest, The T-3 has a large number of weapon characteristics, which was learned from the A-40C.
    Actually, The success of T3 is not achieved overnight, but rather through continuous learning and accumulation over the past year, which has been transformed into my own skills. This is certainly an epic victory, but it's not yet a time for pride. I still need a long time to learn more. Perhaps in a challenge next year, we can see another "T-3" stand out.
