@MechWARRIOR57 dude, I consider proof to be something that PROVES ("to establish the truth or genuineness of, as by evidence or argument") that it occurs.
Also, it's only one clip of whispering.
Same clip, every time.
So if it happened once, it'll happen again, at least, if it's for real and not "in your own head".
@MechWARRIOR57 proof please.
Otherwise, I'm gonna fall back to believing the dev that said there aren't discernable words, @joeysellers, instead of baseless rumors...
(I'm also not the only one who listened to the sound over and over again, being unable to decipher any words... But if you just provide some proof, I'd be excited to be proven wrong about this)
@TTHHSSSS C:\Users\[Your username]\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\Mods
If the Mods folder doesn't exist in the SimplePlanes folder, you can create it.
@geekr send me one of the very few Android devices that would be able to run multiplayer in it's current state, and I'll happily at least see if the networking asset used in the mod will even work on Android :)
(but iOS support is impossible, Apple's policy doesn't allow mods)
@Egorka2001 it depends on the purpose.
PHP and JavaScript are pretty standard for the web, though I'm not a big fan of either.
Python is pretty scalable, and has loads of resources (for both learning, and using "modules"/libraries).
C++ is a nice somewhat low-level language, potentially allowing more performance and customization of how the program handles everything, but is a bit more heavy to write and avoid memory leaks...
...
I generally like to use C#, but it's really preference and purpose that dictate what you "should" use.
@Ezri we have something in mind for making missiles much better, but currently guns and rocket pods are intentionally left out, though hopefully we can support them in the future.
It's Cthulhu, it can't be killed, and any game that adds something called Cthulhu and lets you kill it is misusing Cthulhu, and probably doesn't understand the idea of Cthulhu properly.
@CaesiciusPlanes @EnderWiggin Steam version on OSX/Mac DEFINITELY supports mods (many Mac users have reported, and I had a FT tester on OSX as well), though I'm not sure how you need to install them (reports vary), or if the Apple store version supports mods (I thought it did, but people keep saying it doesn't)... Apple is still strict on OSX, but it's not nearly as closed off as iOS, which ACTUALLY can't have mods because of Apple's policy.
@EliteIndustries1 ... that's not the chat... that's the dev console... it's in the stock game... not the mod... only the saycommand is from the mod (well, and a couple other commands).
Having a proper chat window instead of using the dev console command is on the list, though it's somewhat low priority right now.
@bjac0 unfortunately I currently have no way to check the authenticity of a username login, so you'll have to contact the server host and ask them to handle the impersonator (they should be able to ban them, if the impersonator refuses to stop), sorry :(
@KDS are they "telling" you with the MP "chat", or some external messaging system?
if they're using the "chat", maybe you just aren't receiving their airplane XML to spawn (which could be a bug, or maybe your internet isn't letting it through for some reason).
Does it show that you connected, or failed to connect?
If it doesn't show either... go read the description, where that case is explored.
If it shows "failed to connect", then you may have messed up the IP address, or maybe it's a bug.
If it shows "Connected" or "Joined", then it should work, but idk what could be causing it not to.
@AquaDynamixx
Most of those are not "bugs", exactly, but more like features that were left out, because they would increase complexity quite a lot, and add stress to both the client and the server, though hopefully we can add them all, at some point...
@AudioDud3 except building for PC has almost literally no extra work besides clicking a different button, unless you messed up the Unity install, in which case you just reinstall the one part (Unity installer lets you install every part separately if you wish, you could forget Android support just the same), but building for Android requires installing java (if you haven't already), getting the JDK, getting the Android SDK (and usually installing several different package versions), and letting Unity know where it all is, which is a huge hassle compared to what you do to build for PC: click the button.
@VediViniVici @Mrloominati for rotating entire assemblies, check the latest version, which is in the mods sections, here, and allows you to select multiple parts to rotate or move at once.
@Cerdon to check if anyone is on a server you're in, you can usually just turn on air-to-air targeting with AI traffic set to none, but once in a while someone won't show up as a target for some reason.
IDK, did the console register the command properly?
And you don't need the brackets [], so if I wanted to set my username to UglyFishTank I would do SetName UglyFishTank
and it should say that it called invoked SetName or something...
Just to make sure, you tried the MP button dialog, and it doesn't work for you? (there are plenty it doesn't work for, but if it works you should use it)
@Leonelarminrocks7 hey, I might have fixed it, but I can't test the Android version, could you please download it from here, and let me know if it's fixed?
@Leonelarminrocks7 the mod doesn't care how long it's been running or used for, so I have absolutely no clue what's causing it, and can't fix it, sorry :(
@UmbyTheZombeonYT that is a message logged by SimplePlanes itself, so I'm not sure if I can fix it... "maybe", but I can't make promises.
As for "Disconnect", um... yeah that could(should) be a thing, though I can't say when it'll make it in, we've got more important things to fix, and we're both pretty busy with life and stuff...
@Adlerkrieg @aircraftarsenal123 the first one is down, the second one is up... please double-check (or triple-check or decuple-check or whatever) the IP address, exactly157.7.205.136, paste it in.
@ChiChiWerx it seems to be a glitch when the position on that axis is at perfectly zero... if you just type 0 and hit enter, it should fix the position (assuming it is indeed the bug with being at a perfect zero)... at least temporarily.
@AccipitrisEnterprises that was pre-alpha.
That SP preview video with it? Yeah, that's the only known appearance of the wind tunnel.
It was removed before alpha release :/
@Swiftsure no it's mostly that almost all mobile devices would incinerate themselves when attempting to handle all that.
Lag: many computers get it, few mobile devices have as much processing power.
Radio waves: lol wat, he said signals, that doesn't mean radio waves. Radio waves have nothing to do with it.
Bunch of stuff going on: far more intensive than the normal stuff going on by itself (they stack up).
If a device can't handle an AI plane or two, it probably can't handle this mod, until/unless we manage some optimizations, but we've got more important things to worry about, and then after that we might get to see if software restrictions actually play into it at all.
@ThunderscreechEngineering are you trying to open it? Is it a .spmod-android file?
If it is .spmod-android, but you just can't open it, try manually copying or moving it to Android/data/com.jundroo.SimplePlanes/files/Mods (if the Mods folder isn't there, you can create it)
Unfortunately I don't think there's a solution (though I could be wrong, I'm actually less experienced in the editor than probably half of the Fine Tuner users)

@geekr not sure what you mean? Server hosts can ban by IP address, and kick users.
@weisofns server hosts can ban by IP and kick users.
@JMicah4 because communications between client (your computer) and the server halted for longer than the connection timeout limit.

@LLenger104 sorry, physics are kinda wonky... obviously we'd like to fix it, but as long as we're working with the game's physics, I'm not sure how :/
@Ezri we have something in mind for making missiles much better, but currently guns and rocket pods are intentionally left out, though hopefully we can support them in the future.
@FlyingNarwhal it's in games too, that is, Cthulhu being killable... games that are

and how do you know if you did what right?
Maybe try reading the directions, if you haven't already...
@Leonelarminrocks7 Haha, no problem, thanks for trying it out and reporting back :)
I uploaded the fixed version to the mod post, but it's the same version in that dropbox link, so you don't need to download it from the post again
@AxelJoe would you please you see if the camera angles still lock in this version?
I might have fixed it, but can't test Android right now.
Thanks!
@Leonelarminrocks7 hey, I might have fixed it, but I can't test the Android version, could you please download it from here, and let me know if it's fixed?
Thanks!
@Leonelarminrocks7 I was actually kidding about the pro version, it's just a bug, and I don't know how to fix it, sorry :(
@Leonelarminrocks7 yes, you are only allowed to use my mod for a maximum of 20 seconds at a time, unless you pay for the pro version
@Leonelarminrocks7 just tell me how I can reliably and consistently reproduce it, and I'll fix it right up :)
@roboflop109 check here, though most of them are actually inactive :/
@roboflop109 oh, haha, no worries, glad you got it working :)
@roboflop109 in the editor/designer, a new button at the bottom, a bit to the right, it has the letters "MP", for "MultiPlayer".
-_-
