Cool and beautiful carrier. Always loved Neucom's flat-topped catamaran carriers whenever I see them.
.
Only complaint I'm having is when spawned on the water, after a while it ZOOMS backward (and I suspect it could be because of the backwards engine at the bottom).
Beautiful and scarily maneuverable despite being an interceptor. Weapons have extremely lackluster range though (the minimum and maximum ranges for the missiles are 1.1-to-3.5 meters not kilometres), but I can't blame you for this probable mistake due to missile range coding being confusing sometimes.
.
Overall
Beautifully built craft that I could see existing even in our time. Only complaint I have are the JDAMs have lackluster explosives, is that intentional?
.
An overall...
Beautiful and modular build, and the first time that I know of anybody who has made and posted an IML Addax build even if it's only inspired by it.
.
Could benefit from some Funky Trees FBW since even when following instructions, the pitch up when rolling is pretty nasty (and totally not because of my bad habit of going full power on takeoffs)
.
Overall,
Very nice. VTOL is a bit tricky to control but overall it's a well-made plane. Could do with a first-person camera for better targeting though.
.
Also really like that the alternate WW2 in your craft's description is not another "Nazi Germany wins WW2" scenario.
@Zal777
Looking back on this due to recent upvotes, and because of something I probably could have asked before...
.
If you still have the .XML file of your fifth-generation build, can you share it? My curiosity has peaked once again and I wish to archive it.
@dekanii I just discovered something today. When did you add the ejection buttons on the chairs? Because I think I found out why the escape pods keep turning into coffins...
... The ejection buttons still have collision enabled
Pierre Sprey's nightmare.
.
All (bad) jokes aside, this is a pretty neat build. Only thing I'm having issue with is the speedometer freaking out for some reason.
.
@Zal777 Hello again and you're welcome.
That is unfortunate to hear but I hope you are feeling better now.
Good to hear you are alright still and your fifth-generation variant still intrigues me to no end.
Just because people prefer replicas does not mean original aircraft don't have merit nor there won't be those who like such aircraft. The biggest mistake that people like you or I can make is being discouraged simply because we see the majority prefer something over what you do.
@MonarchiiwithastolenMG Will send it to you as an unlisted post. Also, that's both fortunate yet unfortunate to hear but at least you still have some of your old stuff.
Not only does it move fast but it even maneuvers fast, kind of how I imagine the Vulcan is.
.
Slight gripe is the wings having a gap in the front but it's just a minor issue.
@Griffon1 I simply have a habit of lurking around the site for neat planes to play around and then archive and I just so happened to have stumbled around your build.
.
You're welcome and yes, I had fun playing around with it in spite of/despite the quirks (including slow motion causing it to wrench downwards)
.
No worries with the long comment. I just like seeing neat builds and this one just particularly stuck out to me due to the theme it came from, the fact it's the only one of its kind on the site currently (I also have an Interceptor that I haven't even gone past the cockpit stage) and the amount of effort you put into it.
Wonderful werk. Has a weird glitch where it's incomplete in the editor but normal when playing. (EDIT: it was just the parts visibility inverter turned on, maybe left on by accident)
.
I also love how this thing could have plausibly existed back then as yet another Northrop prototype pre-B2 Spirit.
Of all the things I see and archive from this site, a Legends of Chima build is not what I expected.
.
But I feel so darned happy knowing this exists and you built it, dude.

+1Nice interpretation of a production Fenrir. The canopies as air brakes was also pretty creative.

+1@asteroidbook345 Has basis in reality too. During Israel's early years, they were armed with surplus Nazi guns.
+1Cute, simple and beautiful. Perfect for a Starfighterhead like me.

+1@RamboJutter You go to the weapon attributes, add "waterproof" attribute and set it to "true"
+1@Apollo018362 No problem, dude.
Just as a simple tip, "1 km" for missile range coding is "1000", so "3.5 km" is "3500"

+1Simple, a bit janky but overall a fun build. As a bonus, decided to land this thing on the USS Beast from the front.

+1Beautiful and functions as intended. Definitely need a device with good specs to run this smoothly though.
9.5/10
+1Simple and neat.

Beautiful silhouette. Absolutely disgusting maneuverability, which was endearing.

+1Biblically Accurate Su-75 Femboy
+1A classy build that holds up amazingly well even today.

+1@dekanii I see. That is fair and I don't blame you for the rather explosive oversight.
+1A fantastic retro design brought to life as a fantastic build.

@dekanii Truly the biggest brain maneuver
+1Big Boned Boi

+1Sexy bomber with frighteningly sexy maneuverability.

+1One of the best and most beautiful planes I've ever flown.
10.1/10
Could use a HUD or the camera aiming reticule options, but as it is right now, it's wonderful.
+1Very nice build. Only problem I have are the flaps being pretty wonky (like, wrenching the plane upwards or downwards).
8.5/10
+1It's like a Combine wet dream. Profoundly blursed.
+1@UseGooglePlay I see. So basically, you created a jamming device so good it jams the plane itself? I find that funny tbh

Quite literally a mini Metal Gear and it tickles all my brainicles in a good way

+1@MonarchiiwithastolenMG Hallo again. Still have some of your old werk, the AI ASAP fighters and the KRI Jawa Barat catamaran aircraft carrier :3
+1@VarisoScavenger Credit to @MonarchiiwithastolenMG for the wonderfully simple airframe
+1@GuardianAerospace You're welcome, good luck on the next build und sure, tag me if you wish.
+1One of the best interceptors I've played with and has one of the most beautiful interiors I've seen, especially the creative uses for the buttons.

+1I did not expect Upin & Ipin of all things to come up with a non-credible monstrosity like this.

@SkyJayTheFirst No worries. Apologies for editing my comment since yes I can play offensively against AI craft but as long as they are simple enough
