Initially involved in the design of aircraft, automobiles, and engines, the company strategically pivoted in early 2025 to specialize exclusively in manufacturing original aircraft engines and high-precision replicas of classic aerospace propulsion systems.

in South Africa, HPF Engineering maintained its strong and collaborative partnership with JBP Aviation when expanding operations to New Zealand. The company continued building engines and complex mechanical systems such as landing gear assemblies, engine substructures, and full powerplant systems from both locations.
