This is my side project, Wasp tanker.
It pair well with my WIP F-35b refueling assist system.
I kinda wish the tanker in SP have a realistic hose so I make it myself.
@RNManufactures
The Funky Tree code.
The easiest way to identify fly-by-wire is to observe the plane, if the control surfaces move without input or they follow your input but change their deflection according to situation.
@Khanhlam
Well...
This plane was built back when variable system wasn't a thing so I have to jam the entire code in one spot.
Also, the update 1.11 version, I tend to touch the old code as little as possible so it get even more spaghetti.
Also, I didn't know that using "enter" button will affect the logic or not so I just don't use it.
@UltraLight
I do this the way in real life does it.
I didn't use arcsin or arccos though, I set range of motion of rotators to 90, my command usually output from -1 to 1 so it'll translate nicely to -90 and 90 degrees.
@Khanhlam
I think it have some realistic aspect to it.
It lose speed pretty quick when turning with full pitch, real plane could do this if they are strong enough to handle the load.
If aoa limiter and pitch rate limiter was realistic, I'm sure this plane would fly realistic.
And I don't talk about engine power because this is futuristic plane, super powerful engines might exist by then.
@Zaineman
I'm doing very well, thanks Z.
I just have too many things to do lol.
The way you build for humor might be a way for non-coding player to do PSM you know?
I'd love to have this too if I'm just starting FT.
I don't know if this is part of a plan or not but if you scale those wings down and leaving some blocks as anchor point for control surfaces, fuselage and engine, you'll have a perfect PSM system waiting for plane to be add.
Just keep in mind that the plane need to be mass-less and drag-less.
@Soulless_Reaper
idk what mobile control is like.
But I assume right stick is pitch and roll and left stick is throttle and yaw, and I have mentioned control in the vid, just match them with mobile stick input.
@DrLuckyman
Just a change of pace, USS Beast was in last video.
Also, the system make is too easy to landing on USS Beast so I just use USS Tiny instead.
@UltraLight
I don't use the default I function, I write my own in the variable, SUMPitch.
There will be 2 SUMPitch, one is the calculated value and the other is 0 which is use to clear the calculated value when needed.
@ACEVIPER9710
You might want to go and watch those videos in my bio, they are some basic code you can implement in the plane.
If you know how to code, this Funky Tree thing would be easy.
@Khanhlam
lol
Fair point since this is my first true tailless aircraft.
But all the knowledge I've gain from this help me make this possible, the plane have split brake to control yaw when rudders fold down and not act as rudder anymore.
@Zaineman
idk, like the clip you send, it'll somehow tell the user that "yeet" are present.
Now I think of a screen that have blinking "yeet" popup.
But it's up to your design I guess.
The track seem fun to drive on.
But driving normally seems too boring for me so I'll drift (Need For Speed style) as often as I can in this run.
You may noticed that the control on the right sometimes didn't match the front wheel, that's because this car has drive by wire system in it, that's why I can drift without learning how to.
I didn't aim to enter or qualify for the challenge or anything, just want to drive with my side project, modified Little Bugger drive by wire car.
@KipSqueaks
I set all rotator speed to 100% and use FT function (smooth(x,y) to be exact) to control the speed so I can better control each section rotation speed.
@14FanFlight
I'll post it public.
@Zaineman
Me behind the scene.
@Randomplayer
I'm posting this tanker public.
@MobileBuilder21
I'm not sure what you trying to say.
But engine nozzle do bend while in VTOL mode.
This is my side project, Wasp tanker.
It pair well with my WIP F-35b refueling assist system.
I kinda wish the tanker in SP have a realistic hose so I make it myself.
@UltraLight
When "good enough" work, it's perfection to me lol.
@RNManufactures
The Funky Tree code.

@Soulless_Reaper
Guess you could fly it, I'm trying to keep the performance cost the same.
@cosman
I'll check it out.
@Khanhlam

@UltraLight
I might need to do more research on this, I only rely on the code to make an adjustment without directly control the angle.
@UltraLight
I do this the way in real life does it.
I didn't use arcsin or arccos though, I set range of motion of rotators to 90, my command usually output from -1 to 1 so it'll translate nicely to -90 and 90 degrees.
@Soulless_Reaper
This is still the latest :P
@29Jacobmontoya
No mod.
As I always do.
@Khanhlam

@Khanhlam
No doubt, helis can do many things plane can't.
And sorry for the late reply.
@UltraLight
Sorry for late reply.
I just clear the value whenever the pitch control is applied, that's one of the use case where trim isn't needed.
@TydakMabur
idk.
This was built way before VR.
@Khanhlam
Heli with supermaneuvrability?
That's not how heli work lol.
If it's (rotary) wings stall, you are in a really big trouble.
@Soulless_Reaper
idk what mobile control is like.
But I assume right stick is pitch and roll and left stick is throttle and yaw, and I have mentioned control in the vid, just match them with mobile stick input.
@BogdanX
You mean trailing edge at wing root?
Because that's the point I'm not sure.
@DrLuckyman
Just a change of pace, USS Beast was in last video.

@Cir8
700
@Soulless_Reaper
2 joy stick like in mobile?
@OrderlyHippo
It'll likely around that.
@Khanhlam
lol
Plz no die.
@JuanShot2Go
I see you are a man of culture as well.
@UltraLight
I don't use the default I function, I write my own in the variable, SUMPitch.

Work in progress.
The control is now fully automated, not heli-like as in the previous video.
But I kept the heli-like control anyway, for fun.
lol
Life get me good this time.
@Erectus01
Just do it.
I'm not going to remaster it soon anyway lol.
The blueprint I use is just a regular F-14.
@ACEVIPER9710
You might want to go and watch those videos in my bio, they are some basic code you can implement in the plane.

@Viperonursix
Sure.
You can also ask skyjaythefirst, Khanhlam or Zaineman if I didn't answer you in time.
@Khanhlam
lol
Fair point since this is my first true tailless aircraft.
But all the knowledge I've gain from this help me make this possible, the plane have split brake to control yaw when rudders fold down and not act as rudder anymore.
@Khanhlam
Guess you already improved.
My 'modern' builds are pretty much the same code but there are just more code in those build.
@Khanhlam
Anyways, this seems to be a perfect plane for FT starters lol.
This might be a little bit confusing since it has PID function.
@Khanhlam
So raw lol.
That's how I get it together.
@CharlieLol
Follow this post.
Air condensation effect is so cool.
Didn't think that part could be use this way.
@Zaineman
idk, like the clip you send, it'll somehow tell the user that "yeet" are present.
Now I think of a screen that have blinking "yeet" popup.
But it's up to your design I guess.
@Khanhlam
PSM is drifting in the air lol.
@FlyingPatriot
New track?
Nordschleife have main track and some shorter track if I remember correctly.
@Zaineman
oh
So that's the story behind it.
Kinda wish it has some yeet radar built in the cockpit.

Guess I'd make an F-35 version with this weapons.
I always forgot to ask this lol.
What's the story behind the name "Yeet detector"?
Is it detect Yeet?
Can the Yeet be detected with naked eyes?
@KipSqueaks
I set all rotator speed to 100% and use FT function (smooth(x,y) to be exact) to control the speed so I can better control each section rotation speed.
@Rakoval500k
I tend to not use custom weapons for parts reason.
But that bombs look good.
