@L3FT2R1GHT the PAPI lights are a seperate plane. The explosion you saw was just some blocks and a detatcher, so that when you spawn the lights, the plane loses 1/3 of its parts and become un-targetable.

The PAPI lights and the lights for Wright Airport are not mods, they' are 'planes' you can spawn

  • Lj-c3 5 months ago

@LJAircraftmanufacturer Hi sorry for the late reply, but what needs to be changed?

The nose dive issue could be caused by the plane's CoM being too far forward of the CoL.

@XPAAircrafts @BeechcraftA35 This plane is not mine, I helped finish it after @Remaker65998 asked for help but I did not build the the plane itself. So the credit for this plane should go to him/her and not me.

@XPAAircrafts yes you can, for it to work you need to paint the label black and set the labels emission very high though

@Yeetusyeee hmm seems that you where right, the landing speed indeed was too slow. I've increased it now, so landing should be easier now

  • ATR-72 7 months ago

@schinaplayer hmm I'll look into it

  • ATR-72 7 months ago

@MactanSpotter339 hmm, for all I know it should be quite mobile friendly for its part count so you try flying it first

  • custom airbrakes problem 7 months ago

maybe it is due to the activation group, since deactivating the activation group locks rotators unless you set 'zeroOnDeactivate' to 'true’

  • ATR-72 7 months ago

    @schinaplayer um, mid flight?

  • what to do 7 months ago

This is sadly the downside on trying to make custom props with this method, you cant add variable pitch to the blades. I've had this problem when making my ATR-72, I tried all rotators, using 2 rotators, and even control bases but none worked. So I made a compromise and just let sit at ground neutral. hopefully someone finds a solution for this. cool plane btw

@Remaker65998 здравствуйте, я с радостью помогу вам закончить DHC-8, только скажите, в чем вам нужна помощь. ох и прости меня, это переведено

  • ATR-72 7 months ago

@Yeetusyeee It is really sensitive to speed, and in high pitch scenarios(since you're trying to butter) you need more power from the engines to maintain landing speed as drag increases by quite a bit. Try your best not to drop below 105kts(IAS), Ideal landing speed for it is between 105-107kts. you could also try flying a bit faster, you will need to do a shallow approach since you don't descend as fast. The landing speed was chosen for an approach angle of 3 degrees which is the normal approach angle for most airports, so at 105-107kts and pitch angle less than 5 you would be able to maintain altitude which is how I base landing speeds.
