@MechWARRIOR57 When making realistic cockpits, it's so much easier to build moving parts connected outside and then nudge it in, and avoiding using scaled fuselages (colliders are wonky)
@Rodrigo110 I hope it remains like that, adding a part for every "it's difficult to make" assembly just ruins the point of building them. And everyone has the part transform tool now, so it should be easier than ever
"Although we welcome users from all walks of life, SimplePlanes.com is not aimed at children, and the United States government has put limits on our ability to accept users under a certain age through the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998."
@Tessemi many people are quick to jump the gun to think that successors are just rip offs or copies of their predecessors, but the entire reason the system was implemented was to promote editing and improving designs
I am afraid you misunderstand me, my post was to point out the lack of effort that the community as a whole has been putting out. Tell me that your gumball post took more than an hour to make, then I will retract my statement. Calling quits and claiming to have depression is immature, at that. You wouldn't be posting forums about having depression if you truly did, and playing victim over such a petty thing is not a good way to gain any sort of reputation than a bad one. I hate to be "harsh" here, but it's true, and I hope you can see what I see.
@spefyjerbf I tried using missiles on gimbals to try to align guns to their targets, but I couldn't get it to work (missiles don't like to correct their heading while attached to the cockpit) maybe you'd want to play with the idea?
I was waiting outside my sister's school waiting to pick her up, and a hospital helicopter (presumably) flew over at like 50ft, and continued to go down the highway like that
@Botfinder it's not even that anymore, as I mentioned, it's that the entire "natural filter" that would prevent a lot of things like this is gone. Completely nonexistent. And many actions that would normally get negative feedback manage to draw attention instead
You can easily edit the XML for CoM, and unless you need the detacher to push the rocket, it's easier to just mirror a whole lot inside each other on a fuselage
@OtterOfToast Oh! I'm not entirely sure about anything new with them, but I've been under a rock too, nor do I care much about starting something up lol
@CoolPeach He was just asking a question?
@masterhunter Well there's your problem, SimplePlanes isn't on underground anymore (at least v1.7), so you downloaded either a fake version, or a pirated version
Huh.
You do notice that you have elevators pushing down on the front.. right?
@Treel09 I'm famouse
Health does protect against explosion damage, but 3/4 times the missile rams you then explodes
@BaconEggs I feel your pain
Wow.
@RailfanEthan I wish it was, but it seems that some need... help..?
ExAcTlY!!!!
I simply do not understand, all I have good to say about this entire situation is that it's proving my hypothesis true
Edgy wedgy
I love it, but I believe it could use more umph on the wing tips, besides that, beautiful
@MechWARRIOR57 When making realistic cockpits, it's so much easier to build moving parts connected outside and then nudge it in, and avoiding using scaled fuselages (colliders are wonky)
@AudioDud3 Why thank you! And viperfox is a good laugh at this point (Yes viperfox we're talking about you)
@Rodrigo110 I hope it remains like that, adding a part for every "it's difficult to make" assembly just ruins the point of building them. And everyone has the part transform tool now, so it should be easier than ever
@Jengstrom do you know if the calculations take in account the profile or part count? And does is account for engine scale size?
@DisferGoatz Someone said "that's g*y" (with * for a) referring to his actions... so bending the story
Are you high or something?
@WaffleCakes What?
@WaffleCakes So I must trust that your bio can't be incorrect, and take your word, and ignore you behavior?
@WaffleCakes You are not anywhere above 13 y/o...
"Although we welcome users from all walks of life, SimplePlanes.com is not aimed at children, and the United States government has put limits on our ability to accept users under a certain age through the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998."
@phanps I really don't know...
@BlazeInfinity a few others and I tried, no avail though, missiles only like to correct their headings when independent from the craft
Welcome back!
Added!
@Tessemi many people are quick to jump the gun to think that successors are just rip offs or copies of their predecessors, but the entire reason the system was implemented was to promote editing and improving designs
@Fjorge I would show an example, but I'm afraid I've already been too "harsh" lol
Dear @WaffleCakes,
I am afraid you misunderstand me, my post was to point out the lack of effort that the community as a whole has been putting out.
@Fjorge nono, your builds are fine if that's what you're trying to say, my main complaint is the 2 part uploads that clog everything
Noce
I don't really do replicas, sorry :(
And I have a lot more to get done, if I had time I'd try
@spefyjerbf I tried using missiles on gimbals to try to align guns to their targets, but I couldn't get it to work (missiles don't like to correct their heading while attached to the cockpit) maybe you'd want to play with the idea?
I usually get heap errors when I have extremely high values in the XML, and use ALT F4 or CTRL ALT DELETE to get out of the crashed window
@Jengstrom I think he means engine with such an incredible power multiplier that the game can't handle it and sets the craft velocity to 0
Nice
@Jengstrom You can add custom field on overload (with the exception of
part
attribute (so health modifier has to be done manually)@Jengstrom everything, especially attributes for missiles and guns
@Rodrigo110 Indeed you can! I'm working on a plane post for successors, but it's not required
@CoolPeach Thank you!
@Mijmaj if you're on android you can download the "Overload" mod to help with XML editing, and you can also do it manually from the directory
K
@CoolPeach Oh I see, my apologies
You can easily edit the XML for CoM, and unless you need the detacher to push the rocket, it's easier to just mirror a whole lot inside each other on a fuselage
@CoolPeach I never said I was getting caught up in anything, and I don't see how "TSAD is a group of builders" sparks anything
@OtterOfToast Oh! I'm not entirely sure about anything new with them, but I've been under a rock too, nor do I care much about starting something up lol
@CoolPeach He was just asking a question?
TVAC is new, TSAD is a bunch of builders, and mods? There's an outer space mod
@Awsomur But now, you can make them disappear in an instant!
@masterhunter Well there's your problem, SimplePlanes isn't on underground anymore (at least v1.7), so you downloaded either a fake version, or a pirated version
@masterhunter I used to be on android, but now on Windows
