@FireFast212 rotation speed, aka VR, is the speed at which back elevator pressure is applied to take off. To clarify, some people give the “oversimplified” definition of being when the nose gear lifts off. That is inaccurate, even if you assume that all planes have tricycle gear, which is not the case. It usually takes a while before the nose wheel actually gets off the ground, since control pressure is always gradually applied irl.
@chickenderp DPS is on a break from SP, since his broke his phone. Therefore he also can't make that video :(
Also, his English is kinda broken ngl, and he means that you should include a more detailed description with a photo gallery, flight instructions, operating limitations, et al., like in the example provided.
@ParziParziTheVal @PapaKernels
So,
1. Trim levers are on very old planes, and they are rare.
2. About what I mean by "stick": he claimed to have a stick in the plane, but yokes are present instead.
3. About the Catalina, don't you realize it is way larger than this?
4. 6500 drag points is too much for GA. It is private jet level. Also, remember that you don't take into account the general amount of drag; instead you go with whatever can get you to a realistic speed with realistic power. Also, you may have too high of an expectation for the speed of the planes.
@PapaKernels And where I wanted the wings isn't where you put it. If wings were always where the designers thought it would look best basically no planes would ever fly. Be rational.
@PapaKernels About the time thing:
You only post twice a week? Wow. How many players actually post two or more high quality builds per week? Not that many. I usually spend two months or more working on my planes.
@PapaKernels Some other problems I noticed in your description and the plane:
Do you know what a stick is?
Do you know what trim tabs are and how they work?
Why is there only one thrust lever?
Why is there a trim lever in place of a trim wheel where another throttle lever should be?
Do you know how overkill twin engines and 4000hp is for a two-seater? In comparison, the C172S produces 180hp and the DC3, in a comparable era, produces 2400hp and that's an AIRLINER.
I appreciate the effort, but I expected more effort and diligence when you submitted this plane. Sorry.
And @ParziParziTheVal what do you think of this plane? You're arguably a more experienced pilot lol
@PapaKernels And the stuff about trim:
You can just move the wings forward a bit. It seems like you either don't know the nudge tools, or you don't test your planes for some reason. Like your last plane you entered in the airliner challenge. That one doesn't even fly without a gyro.
@PapaKernels About your claims:
There is no rudder trim. Why do I have to hold it for so long? This is not even the yaw that we get irl. It is a lot more annoying.
Yes. We can use trim. But there's a problem with having to pull up even with FULL TRIM. So you think max speed is using full throttle forever? No. We don't use full thrust except during takeoff irl. Therefore using MAX TRIM is not enough even in cruise.
You had nearly a month to do this. I think some more effort would be better. ngl, you are one of those users who spam half-decent stuff frequently to get you here. I believe in quality over quantity.
Plz don't download this

Lol I can download and fly 4000 parts with high physics
I will also download on my phone haha
@F104Deathtrap lol
@NumbersNumbersTheMan ah thank you
@NumbersNumbersTheMan how do you put a link in a image?
@XAircraftManufacturer ok lol
+1@XAircraftManufacturer oh
I mean, is it the one I kinda helped you with?
You might have not remembered
@XAircraftManufacturer lol is this the previous XL7?
@AirbusAerospace where did you get that airport map in the screenshots? lol
@eternaldarkness can you please remove the underscores from the name of the user below?
@SavageMan cool!
+1@ChrisETH lol
@ParziParziTheVal lol
@ChrisETH no it isnt

@Cabbage17 I am @FeiWu lol
+1@Thebite1234567 It means that bronze users are an exception to the funky trees rule.

@KnightOfRen
@KnightOfRen ah yes. My PFP is a picture of my RJ200 (the original model for this series) still in development.
@KnightOfRen what is a pfp anyway?
@KnightOfRen yay
@KnightOfRen You can grade it now. Again, please note that custom thumbnails were not possible at the time.

@PapaKernels I hope you appreciate the constructive criticism. I am not saying You suck, so be it I am telling you how to improve.
@PapaKernels and about the 4000hp, just do
calculateDrag
false
for smaller parts@PapaKernels And where I wanted the wings isn't where you put it. If wings were always where the designers thought it would look best basically no planes would ever fly. Be rational.
@PapaKernels It is true, however, that your effort and build quality is increasing, as evident in your battleship. It looks really nice.

I think you should make the interior be worth less lol

@DPSAircraft oh no lol

@PapaKernels ok
@CubingBub95 download this post. You should now see a cockpit. Now build from the cockpit. When you’re done, post.
@KnightOfRen chromebooks are really cheap lol
maybe thats why
@KnightOfRen and remember, this is a PHONE that I'm running this on lol
with HIGH physics and MAX settings
@KnightOfRen it actually does about 25 FPS just fine lol
@KnightOfRen
Lol I can download and fly 4000 parts with high physics
