@Airheaddivision indeed so let's hope sp2 will feature some real physics and flexibility when it comes to the rotor part and in addition the biggest feature m waiting for is the form edit for fuselage . may i ask what's ur current project for the moment?
@Airheaddivision I'm flattered it help u , gonna give u a tip would help u a lot specially u r a helicopter builder like me ( a custom rotor requires time nd effort yet it add a bit of realism for ir replica , so maybe consider using default rotor withe ur choppas . in order to make ur heli's flight level like a black hawk without the need for a jet engine just set the drag for the whole fuselage to 0 ) this will provide speed without the need to add more pitch plus the angle of the rotor should be 85° or 87° not 90°

@cyon yeah like the outer part colour nd the interior of the hollow fuselage with other colour this will be very useful for colouring interior without the need for mor parts , plus free form edit for both fuselage part will be a big jump in building helicopters ( nh-90 uh-60 special need this feature tho )
i guess urm r talking about ur helis blades right ? if so use fuselage part , shape it as heli requires nd u won't face this problem again plus set the physics to medium to avoid the tip of blade separate from the rotator i do that for all my helicopters i can upload my black hawk main rotor for u if u want
@Airheaddivision it happens to me all the ( getting mad cuz it won't work the way i want it ) but it's ok try to give ur brain a refresh or u can make some progress in other builts of ur own thats what i personally do ( resently i was mad about my last built it's a heli a KAI LAH replica some how by doing some refreshment i figured ou a way that make my helicopter reach a high speed of 151mph or more with the game default rotor nd with the existance of a gyro nd to do that u need an overall drag betwee 200 or < nd for the gyro settings 175% for both speed and stable ) plus m happy to help in anything u need
i wonder if the deves add a feature when we can for example leave our ( car, heli, plane ...) in a certain location and then in the pause menu there will be a button like the save location in SP but label " save vehicle here " for example nd when u exit nd comeback with different or the same vehicle we will find the previous one in the same spot where we save it ( we can imagine like we making our own camp/base)
as we getting closer to 2025 and the devs have mentioned that they gonna be quiet for the next month but i guess it is time for some new details about the parts in the game nd new screenshots
for the new parts they mentioned new procedural jet engine, i hope they add procedural landing gear as well and a new light part that can really enlighten the way of ur car/plane/jet/ helicopter... specially it will be a great feature cuz u can finally build a searchlight and with new targeting camera and water physics u can do SAR scenarios with different helis and let ur imagination do the rest
if there is new features when it comes to manipulating the fuselage to any shape i like I'll definitely will do remakes to all my helicopters alongside adding what is so called "FLIR" nose cameras and modifying my Kiowa helicopter with those targeting cameras plus for sure some ships snd seacrafts
@Airheaddivision use some 3d models from sites on google i use them a lot they are helpful as references , i genuinely us this site with a 360 deg view for any model
looking bombastic soo far !! tbh I've tried to build it twice unfortunately the results of nose radome and cockpit windshield m not satisfied about currently working on "last hope for nh-90" nd im making a great progress I'll post about it maybe tomorrow, as for the Chinook I'll do the same for it nd as for u bodyy keep it up ur doing a fantastic job specifically the black hawk mine the work is suspended ( finished the whole chopper from the outside still missing the interior)
@JustAMiko yeh more like vertices for accurate fuselages , a helicopter like an nh90 with it diamond shape hull would be easy to work with that feature

i think one of ur current black hawk need a glass cockpit well I've already starte working on a dashboard of a glass uh-60 but it still un finished if u want ill upload it for u
