Jail breaking is pretty easy and can be removed relatively easily as well. I used it for a bit to XML mod (using iFile, a jailbreak application that lets you edit apps' files) but I unjailbroke my phone recently (took like 5 minutes but you have to back up data first). I don't know if you can get android/PC mods with a jailbreak, I highly doubt it. The most you can do, in my experience, is XML mod @DemonSniper8
