@AeroEngineering Da. Politburo take hand for crime of steal bread, read imperialist book or no clap loud enough for Comrade Stalin. Is sad, but such is life.
Can you please explain the significance of the wing bones? Are you making the leading edges separate because you intend to make leading edge flaps? Your work never fails to amaze me, keep on keepin on!
@DimaKosheleFF Nice, I always thought it looked like a knight with his lance lowered for battle charging forward atop his charger. Is that what you're flying?
@Stingray Eve Online is beautiful. The ships look nice, but the galaxies and planets and stars are mind-blowingly gorgeous. The thing is, it's not like Simpleplanes or Elite, you don't "steer" your ship so much as click on stuff and tell it to go places. It's an MMO, and they usually let you play for 2 weeks for free, sometimes even longer, so if you wanted to check it out, you could do so without paying anything.
@Iamsilverdahedgie RULE #1: Beats are way overpriced. They aren't bad but they cost twice what they're worth, and people bootleg them a lot, so don't waste your cash on them.
Otherwise, it depends on how much you want to spend. You can pick up a good pair of Sony headphones for 50 bucks, people who work in radio use them a lot because they're cheap but sound very clear. Read the reviews though, quality varies depending on which set you choose.
If you're willing to spend more than $100 you can pick up a set of studio-quality headphones. I wouldn't pay more the $200 though, because higher quality headphones reveal defects in the recording more than anything else. Audiotechnica makes a set called ATH-M50 that sound great, even with really heavy bass they stay very clear and crisp. If that's too much money, check out the SR-80 series from Grado Labs, they're not quite as amazing in the bass department but are still amazingly good for their price.
TLDR: Dont buy Beats, don't spend more than 200 bucks and read the reviews on this website. It's easy to drop a lot of cash, but don't. Good headphones reveal defects in recordings, like seeing someone you think is attractive from far away but then you get closer and realize they're covered in acne and have crossed eyes.

@JohnnyBoythePilot Things got pretty messy in the late 40's, they had been developing so many new planes for so long it got to be a real chore just figuring out what was what. Eventually they re-renamed it the RF-61C, which makes more sense. Can you imagine all the "clickbait hate" if I posted a propeller plane as "the F-15" ? HA!
@JohnnyBoythePilot Yeah, the Widow is a favorite of mine. There was a stripped down, highspeed photo-recon version called the Reporter. Sleek and gorgeous, maybe I'll make something like that only with radar and a few 20mm cannons.
@JohnnyBoythePilot I've been meaning to make a heavy for some time. My B-26 almost fits the bill (once you dump all the bombs) but I want to make a true nightfighter, something with radar and a huge pair of radials. It takes me forever to make anything though, and I've got a whole series of planes I want to do first. Argh! Anyway, looking forward to your next build.
You got talent. I love these "heavy fighter" designs like the Beaufighter or Lightning. I especially like the fixed, streamlined landing gear, it gives it a very authentic 1930's look.
It is pretty fun to swoop around in. I'm working on a float plane right now, this was good practice. Anyway, good luck, I hope you build more of these.
@Ephwurd If you put the rotors on an activation group, they'll retain their position. Mostly it's just easier to track moving targets with pitch+roll. Either way, this cannon-thing is awesome.
@Scottydoestuff Sorry, I'll explain. A lot of people obsess over details when they make a replica, but miss the big picture, the overall proportions. This thing you made is better than that and I like it.
Reminds me of an old game called Wing Commander for some reason. I like it!
You're quite talented.
@Timewolf It's a beautiful plane. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
@Timewolf Lavochkin was a Soviet design bureau, but the Germans often used captured equipment. Is that what you're going for here?
@diegoavion84 Will your plane include a cockpit interior? Or only the out side parts?
@diegoavion84 Sounds about right. Gonna do a cockpit?
What's the part count up to?
Luftwaffe roundel on Soviet plane?
Looks great!

Kinda reminds me of Faye Valentine's ship from Cowboy BeBop
@Marine Oh, right! You usually make large aircraft that need thick wings for lift and strength. I didn't think of that. Thanks!

@chancey21 XD
Damn, I wish they'd bring these things back. Good work!
Mig 31? Nice, I like the leading edge work especially, very rare to see on here.
@DimaKosheleFF Yah, that's what I mean, the Incursus looks like a knight with a lance. Cruisers are fun, got your drone skills leveled up for it?
@TheMutePaper THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Gonna do any more Eve ships?

@Stingray Advice from someone who played 2 years: have fun NOW, it doesn't get any better with the bigger ships.
More of a Tempest man, myself.
@QuantausAviation When I told my wife about the horn she was like "That is my new favorite car!"
Yeah, make something else. How about a De Havilland Comet 88?
@Iamsilverdahedgie That's all for music, by the way. For games, just get something with a microohone that fits your budget and has good reviews.
ROADRUNNA ROADRUNNNNA!

Simple, but good. Very nice.

Or
Jagdpanzer 38 "Hetzer"

@Ironghost Thanks! They took forever.

@Ephwurd I don't think I follow your line of reasoning. However, Zharappa is correct that it is ultimately a matter of preference.

GT XT, it will travel better on the various islands.
@Zharapparbyell Great! I learned the hard way building turrets for my bombers, I'm glad you like it. Good luck with your future builds.
YES! You clearly spent some time getting it right, awesome job.
Best RPG ever!
Looks great. If you make the inputs pitch and roll people could control it with a mouse, much easier than using sliders.
Sure thing, man. I'm a fool for these old Russian birds.
@QuantausAviation Good luck, amigo
You'll probably have less trouble with Gen 1.
Very nice.
