Looks great, very stylish. I like the way it resembles the old Ho229. Obviously you can take this or leave it, but stealth aircraft almost never carry weapons outside of an internal weapons bay in order to keep their radar cross section as smooth and small as possible.
Your gadgets are cool. If you're upset about not getting attention, then it's time to learn how to make stuff pretty. People click on shiny pretty stuff, or familiar things. That's why Mustangs, Messerschmitts and Spitfires are always clogging up the front page. They're familiar and pretty. Anyway! As far as making better looking builds goes, you should think about what sort of stuff you want to make, search for good (pretty) examples of that stuff that other people have made, and TEAR THEM APART to figure out how they work. That's how I learned. That, and mod tools like Finetuner and Overload. Also, be prepared to spend more than a couple days making and testing and fixing and remaking things before uploading them, I've been building the same darn biplane for over two weeks.
@Stellarlabs I'm making it for a competition, and I will be keeping it under 1,000 as per the rules. I will probably post 2 versions of it. I hate doing that, it feels like trying to get twice the votes for a single plane but I think it's probably the best way to do it.
So far, Im only at 550, but I still need to build the posts, cables, landing gear and attach the instrument panels, so another 200 parts could happen.
@Kaos No in between here, either the wing is textured (120 parts x 4 wings, plus another ~40 for the tail) or it isn't (~50 parts for all wings and tail combined).
@Mattangi This is my most obnoxious build so far. Most of the part count is in "decals" like the shark mouth and lettering. If I just left it flat black, it would probably top out around 450 parts.
@DarthAbhinav @chancey21 I see where you're coming from, but consider that even on a top-spec system, a lower part count will have a noticeable impact on performance, especially with physics and shadows turned all the way up.
@Thoum Make the wheel smaller? Retractable landing gear is always tricky because it has to look right, work right and fit right. No easy task. I still can't quite figure out how the MIG-23 gear fits in that tiny space.
The key to making custom gear is "disable aircraft collisions." It's a feature that lets parts of your plane pass through each other. The easiest way to do it is to get the Overload mod from the mod section on this site. You're running windows, so it should be no trouble to get working. Mods like Overload and Finetuner will allow you to make things you never thought possible.
@EternalDarkness Hey, I'm making progress with my trainer but I just remembered a potential obstacle. In the past I've had trouble making contest entries successor. I use the contest cockpit, but it doesn't always work properly. I think it has to do with me resizing (or otherwise modifying) the cockpit part, but I sort of need to shrink it so it doesn't make my plane look weird. I will do my utmost to get it to list as a successor, but it may require a bit of patience. Thoughts? Advice?
I've seen this happen, but I never could figure out how. The last time I came across it was on someone else's plane, he had some relatively small turrets and they were real wobbly.
11 pieces?
ZA RODINU!

How was it not compatible before?
@JangoTheMango No frame issues yet.
Man, this is one ruthlessly cool muscle car!
Gotta love it
This is a really beautiful plane.

Putting the cockpit block on a rotor will allow to target in any direction. Putting the missile on a rotor will allow it to fire in any direction.

@QingyuZhou No problem.
Badger Badger Badger

@DarthAbhinav Hey, whats up?
Well, it sounds like I should make both versions. People seem quite evenly split on this question.
@PhantomBladeCorp Hey, thanks. I admire your skill and your input is more than welcome.
@AstleyIndustries @Bogdanx You guys are smart, what do you think?
@DemonSniper8 I like to think of it as a title. Like The 3rd Count of Buckingshire. The 8th Demon Sniper.
@Bossboy666657 Actually, no. It's very blocky and geometric, mostly tubes and right angled boxes.
PZL M-15 Belphegor
@Cars1000 Rightfully so!

Are you the 8th demon that snipes or did you snipe 8 demons?
@Alien I should have something up withing the next week or so. I've been building a trainer for EternalDarkness's challenge.
@Alien Yeah, you got it. And it is pretty!
Stunning.
Awesome choice, awesome job! Is this your first post? Impressive.
Simple, but good.
Very nice.
Not sure how ppl manage to post one of these every day.
Kthxbye
Once you learn xml editing, you'll be able to make it go the right speed. This is a great start, welcome to S-P!
@Jetpackturtle I dunno, there's a couple people on here that are always posting wierd stuff like pencils, vegetables and other non-vehicles.
@Jetpackturtle OMG! ALDERAAN! We need to get that guy who always builds food and office supplies to make Alderaan!
@EternalDarkness Thanks, I didn't know that about the code. That will help.

@goboygo1 XD Yeah, I guess that part of the code is self contained. Hmmm...
This is good work
Please use this to make something.
WINNING!
@Awsomur Thats awesome, you got a link for it?
@Awsomur No problems with it trying to nose down on you?
@Awsomur Cool. How'd you do it?
@Awsomur Any progress?
