@CaptFoxworth19 As a matter of fact, the front nose gear on my Tu-22 Backfire has has this. The main landing gear doors function differently than the nose doors, and I had to build a very complicated system to make them work so ignore them and focus on the parts up in the front. Don't worry about crediting me if you find anything useful. Good luck, you can do this!
Very nice! The (incredible) interior is certainly a quantum leap forward from your typical Goonybird. I just saw a photo of one of these where they actually installed pontoons and it had very similar livery.
@Dimkal This is actually my submission for your maritime patrol challenge, over a year late. It was a really good idea and we got to see some really great work with that one. I apologize I couldn't make the deadline.
Novelty, most likely. Most people have flown jets and blown things up, and we all see good build on the front page every day. But a turkey-cooker? Novelty.
I don't see the problem with successors. You get points if other people repost your stuff and it clearly links back to your creation so people can see for themselves.
You're travelling on a bus from Atlanta, Georgia to Toronto, Ontario. The bus averages 20mpg, begins the trip with 3/4 of a tank, avoids toll roads and never exceeds the speed limit. Assuming the fuel tank has a capacity of 500 gallons, what is your favorite WWII aircraft and why is it actually the P-47 Thunderbolt?
Even though it only entered service at the end of the war, there was quite a bit of variety with the Widow. The differences between the B and C models seem significant and to complicate matters, air crews often made modifications in the field. For instance, the robotic turret (which was heavy, unreliable and difficult to maintain) was often removed entirely to save weight.
@MethaManAircraft Is correct, the C model had turbos that gave it the full 2800hp per engine. The wikipedia line art is of a B model, without turbos. From what images I've seen, there seems to be relatively small intakes at the 4 and 8 o'clock position of each engine cowling on the P-61C. Still, this is a very nice plane you've built, certainly something to be proud of!
While it is true that airplanes get most of the upvotes, they key to getting them is to make it to the front page. You accomplish that by taking good screen shots, having a visually impressive build or a unique concept. You'll get there, keep trying.
@ArcturusAerospace I feel for you. Hang in there.

Or you could spend some time actually testing out the stuff you build before pushing it out into the world
@CaptFoxworth19 Me neither, TBH
Happy Birthday, Ace
This Dude: makes the owo face
Everyone: There he is, LETS GET HIM!
This is what the experts use, though I have yet to do so myself.
Whoa
I was hoping someone would do a nice, detailed tribute to this iconic bird. This exceeds what I was hoping for by a wide margin. Truly awesome work!

@Dimkal I should

FUS RO DAH
Do not EVER set mass to zero for important parts like engines, wings, rotators, etc. It bugs out every time.

@Hellosss38 I guess so
@Hellosss38 Hmmm, does it take more time than writing and bug testing the code for an entire new feature for the game?
@Hellosss38 Can't you just snap off the cockpit block and rotate the whole thing?
Swedish jets are really just space ships hiding in plain sight, prove me wrong.
These things are so creepy!
Well well well, nice to see you're still building stuff. Great job Pig!
@U500771 Make sure to save a copy before you scale your whole build, just incase you make a mistake or something goes wrong.
I'm almost certain you could just rotate your build and then use the mirror tool we already have.
Yes!
Not nearly enough racing planes on here and this one looks awesome!

@ChisP The Darkness does as he pleases
@ItBurger Sometimes
Nice tank buster
@LastManStanding THATS A GREAT ANSWER! More pilots became aces in the F6F than any other plane flown by any country in history. Ever.
Keep in mind you are not the only person who has ideas for the game and that they're busy people.

@Mattangi2 NEVER! I merely invoked the sanctified name so that all would recognize.
@Blyatsickle Alright good luck

DOUBLE WASP!
@AlcatelK2 Thanks! I spent a lot of time adjusting the speed and turn rate. Originally they were much faster, but it was less fun.
@QingyuZhou The ultimate gas guzzler
@DanDaFreakinMan Hey, I never noticed that. Nice catch!
@TrislandianAlliance No problem, I just like spitting out information on those two. They're both amazing designs with amazing histories.
@Blyatsickle Any other questions?
@asteroidbook345 I stand corrected, not the N9 but the N-1
@asteroidbook345 I really love the P-61, but his wings are also quite good. I saw the little yellow one in person, up close. The N-9, it's beautiful.
@asteroidbook345 Its ok, Jack Northrop had some great designs!
Ooh, one of my favorite pilots died in that thing!

@asteroidbook345 Another big win for Tupolev
@SledDriver It's nice to be back
Very interesting design, even by your standards
