@Hexcorpz Not really. It's easier to start a new one. You have to get a dev to manually change your name, and there's only a handful of devs and they've got 2 games they're coding right now.
@jamesPLANESii Depends on the settings, right? What HP/throttle are you using for this calculation? A Wright Cyclone (1,000hp) cruises on .43lb/hp/hr. Perhaps compare the two? I have no idea what an appropriate throttle setting is for a turbosupercharged engine from the 1930's.
Whrre I live in the US, trains are about as expensive as owning a car. People still use them for purposes of convenience, but it's a sad state of affairs.
@CALVIN232 I can certainly sympathize with you there. I've been working on one plane for 6 months now and I'm still nowhere close to finishing it. What's worse is it's already close to 800 pieces but barely looks like it's worthy of 300. Every day I add a block or two and then find something that has to be fixed, two hours later I can't even remember what I was working on in the first place. I haven't posted anything on here since last spring!
Anyway, it's alright man. Everybody gets down sometimes but it'll roll on and get better.
@CALVIN232 Dude, no one wants your account. If you don't feel like making that's fine. It takes a lot of effort to build and if it aint fun then don't do it. Anyway, good luck out there.
When you rescale the whole plane in finetuner, if you only scale in one or two dimensions, some parts will be distorted in unexpected ways. So always go 2,2,2 or 0.972, 0.972, 0.972 etc.
Also be careful to use "relative scale" and to uncheck "calculate mass" and "engine power"
@Aarons123 I ran a search and found a few examples people made a long time ago. I obviously like the videos and might be influenced by them, but I have no plans to build either plane. Good luck, whatever you choose to make.
@JelloAircraftCorporation Sometimes this place can be a good one to vent your feelings a bit, I've seen plenty of personal baggage unloaded on these forums. But to act so domineering, as if depriving us of his planes would somehow harm everyone... well, maybe if the planes were a bit better? I don't know.
@randomusername I completely understand what you're saying, and I agree with your sentiment, so I will explain myself.
As I said, I encourage ppl not to delete if they are leaving. However, this particular person has revealed that he is doing so out of contempt for the people of our community. He actually said so. And then he tried to threaten everyone by "shortening" his pathetic little countdown because people were asking him questions. Like some kind of bizarre hostage situation. That last part was too much for me. I simply lack the self control to let that kind of foolishness go unrewarded.
@Winstonlharambe Well done. You've hit upon one of the less obvious features that sets this game apart from so many others: very satisfying destruction. The way our precious creations shatter into hundreds of pieces and scatter across the hillsides is quite hypnotic. For April Fools I re-uploaded a popular tank someone else made, the only difference was I had removed every single connection, so as soon as it loaded, it collapsed into a pile.
@T8flightcrafts IKR? At first, I thought "oh man, we're losing another one of the early greats. This sucks." Then I went through his stuff and I was like "Wait, what? New guys struggle to get votes with better stuff than this"
@BurkeEnterprise Ah yes, I am familiar with that. I used to live in a place where it would snow, rain, sleet or some mixture 20 days out of the month. Lots of very nice coffee shops.
@Heihachi Custom landing gear, 3D wings, cockpit interiors, Modded picture backgrounds, that kinda stuff. Look at stuff that gets votes and see what you can learn.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
100 years ago, this was the fastest plane on earth. I wonder what 2119 will look like.

@Spectre2520 Nope. Also, begging is against the rules. :)

+1@aplayer Gallium is a metal.
Panther, Puma, Pacific
I'm sorry your plane didn't get the attention you think it deserved. Paneling is difficult, I'm quite bad at it.
@RailfanEthan I was referring to daily commute to work.
Whrre I live in the US, trains are about as expensive as owning a car. People still use them for purposes of convenience, but it's a sad state of affairs.

+1@Spitfirelad05 I'm glad you like them! Have you seen this one? Judging by your name, I think you'll enjoy it.
BE SURE TO SCALE ALL 3 DIMENSIONS EQUALLY!
When you rescale the whole plane in finetuner, if you only scale in one or two dimensions, some parts will be distorted in unexpected ways. So always go 2,2,2 or 0.972, 0.972, 0.972 etc.

+4Someone stole half your car?! I am certainly going to swivel my camera around more often.
+3Draw a flying pig on it.
@asteroidbook345 I was referring to the fact that the 144 was grounded for literally cracking itself apart.
@asteroidbook345 If you crack an egg-Concorde it becomes a Tu-144
Dunno how this thing snuch by me, but she's got my upvote now
+1The Darth Vader of sports cars, nice choice.
+1@Notaleopard Did you invent this term?
@exosuit Correct, it was a joke but it had a kernel of truth
@Aarons123 I ran a search and found a few examples people made a long time ago. I obviously like the videos and might be influenced by them, but I have no plans to build either plane. Good luck, whatever you choose to make.
@Randomusername @Chancey21 I couldn't agree with you two more, so now that the problem has worked itself out, I have deleted my response.

@ACEPILOT109 Yes. Morbid, but beautiful.
+1Did something go wrong with the successor system when you posted it? Its a very cool plane.
@randomusername I completely understand what you're saying, and I agree with your sentiment, so I will explain myself.

That's a mighty fine debris field you got there.
+2I am really impressed. You're quite talented.
+1@randomusername XD That one looks familiqr too, though I can't recall what it reminds me of.
+1@randomusername The bomber? Yeah, he did a good job of making it alien yet familiar. Like a B-24 from another planet.
+1HOW ABOUT YOU GO TELL HIM TO PLAY SIMPLE PLANES INSTEAD OF BOTHERING US HERE?
SP needs your support a lot more than some jerk who gets paid a bazillion dollars to pander to children and play videogames badly.
+6By any chance did you happen to notice any of the planes right on the front page getting hundreds of downloads every single day?
What is VF? Do you mean Navy fixed wing fighters? (USN uses VF as the unit prefix for fighter squadrons).
+1@goboygo1 Not really concerned about that, I just want people to keep on making planes and tanks and flying hamburgers and stuff.
The plane looks great, especially the wings! The nose and engine could've used a bit more love, but overall a good job.
@exosuit SP doesn't nag you with all the idiotic "features" that facebook uses to keep you logging in.
@CruzerBlade Probably correct
+1@exosuit I know, it's great!
You are a wonderful man for posting this.
+1@BlackhattAircraft Hear hear!
+1@SupremeDorian Touche!
@BACconcordepilot It is. :)
+4Your first time? Congrats!
+1@BurkeEnterprise Ah yes, I am familiar with that. I used to live in a place where it would snow, rain, sleet or some mixture 20 days out of the month. Lots of very nice coffee shops.
+1@Heihachi Instead of using default flat wings, you build realistic looking wings with airfoil shapes out of fuselage blocks.
+1@Heihachi Custom landing gear, 3D wings, cockpit interiors, Modded picture backgrounds, that kinda stuff. Look at stuff that gets votes and see what you can learn.
+1@BurkeEnterprise How many days of night do you get at the longest cycle? 20?
