In snowstone, the findable locations are Ice Assualt (or something like that), Blue Glacier Park, Avalanche Airport, Tundra Wasteland, and Undermountain Docking Bay. There might be one or two more I forgot to name.
As for Islands there's,
Wright, plain and empty, near USS Beast
*Krakabloa, volcano, bridges, and Yeager/Bandit airports
*Sky Park City, which you can see just off from the sout airport at wright (it faces south too)
*Snowstone, the snow Island
*And maywar, but since you're on iOS you won't be able to find it, as Mayway is not implemented in that version. If you ever get Computer version, then it is east from the south airport in Wright.
Well, not technically blacked out (I could exit the sandbox mode, exit the game, etc.) but It flew up to the speed and altitude limit (2 million something) and went black, but sound, the HUD, and VTOL sliders were visible. It was weird. @MaximusTheMinimus
Noice, One time I got a medium jet engine that was so powerful it literally blacked out the game for a bit. Never doing that again, lol. @MaximusTheMinimus
Nice, I also enjoy (just for fun) adding random modded propellers or other parts, putting them on some of my creations, and seeing the result. Some don't go as planned, others turn out hilarious. @MaximusTheMinimus
