I pressume that 'gyroplane' is the same thing as autogyro.
I suppose you could make a realistic autogyro by having a large main propeller providing all the lift and a small pusher prop at the tail making the thing move.
The main prop, however, would have to be XML modded so it would be longer than what is possible from the GUI, but XML modding is not considered cheating in the community, and with a little patience, you can XML mod without any mods like Overload.
Or I can make the prop for you, if you provide me with the unfinished autogyro/gyroplane.
Nothing, that's just how it works. When you make a hit build, you will receive the attention back. My golden days are over as well. Many plat players, like Aviown, make so many great builds that they became tasteless to the community, so they get much less attention than if a new player made it.
@Delphinos Well, that's what at least 80% of people do. What freaks me out is that no matter how many good and professional drivers there are, a single guy can easily ruin the day of everyone else
@Hyattorama 4gig ram is more than enough unless you want to play on huge maps. SSD also won't help much. I highly doubt that you can connect an external GPU to the inspiron.
We could discuss this topic forever, you have a large enough budget to afford a lot of options;
You can build a computer, which will give you the best performance for your budget, and, depending on what parts you choose, you will be able to upgrade in the future, although you will have no portability (and... touch controls, i guess?).
A laptop will offer less performance than a computer, but will allow you to take it with you, and some laptops do have touchscreens.
And the most portable option would be a tablet or a phone. That would give you the least performance and also disallow usage of some mods.
@Hyattorama RAM and storage are not very important for SP, it's mainly about CPU and video card (if any). For 300 dollars you can get a decent android machine or a chromebook, and yes, if you can get Google play on it and download SP, then it will function very similar to the PC version. Personally, I don't like the touch or keyboard controls, and prefer a joystick over anything, but I guess if you're good with them, it's up to you. A used laptop or a tablet will do. As I said, my laptop has an Intel Celeron @ 1.5Ghz with integrated GPU, and it performs OK, and nowadays it would be priced under $70
What is your budget? You can get a SP machine for well less than 100$,
A weak PC will run SP, a weak PC with Linux will run SP even better,
Do not bother with touchscreen, it is of very little help when it comes to SP.
Chromebook will not run SP unless you install Android on it.
Have a look at single board computers such as the Raspberry Pi or preferably the ASUS Tinker Board, they are dirt cheap and can run Android.
A cheap Android tablet is also a way to go, as long as it has USB OTG, so you can connect a mouse and a keyboard.
I have a rather underpowered and old HP630 laptop which could not run SP out of the box, but after installing Linux on it, I now use it to do many of my builds.
My main PC us a tad more expensive, with AMD Athlon X4 and RX470 graphics card.
We could talk about this topic a lot, but it heavily depends on your budget and if you want the machine to be portable.
@Rodrigo110 I think you misunderstood me there. I was not saying that Android is more secure, I was only pointing out its feature to enable 3rd party sources, with a big notification popping up warning you that you will be on your own.
The fact that an OS is open source does not make it less secure. In order to get a virus, the user still has to do something. The only way viruses can go into the device "by themselves" is if you connect to an untrusted network, be it WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, or even USB. (EDIT: and visiting sketchy sites, but again, all browsers warn you beforehand) That can be easily prevented by simply not doing it.
From my point of view, iOS is as secure as Android, and any other OS for that matter.
I did a research on this a bit ago, and my conclusion is:
• happens only on Android
• the pic nr. 4 is always the same as pic nr. 3
• in designer you can still select only three pics
• the third pic gets duplicated
@BroAeronautics yes, that's another thing; but with VTOL I understand that it would me much more difficult to make the AI work because of the inconsistent nature of VTOL planes
wait where are the comments
+1By the way; welcome to the community. Hope you enjoy your stay here!

+1@TCLY if you want, I can make it a map add-on when it's done. I would tag you as a coauthor, so I suppose you'd earn points as well
+1Can I get Aero Effect multiplayer on Android?
+1Simple: readily understood or performed
Planes: powered heavier-than-air aircraft with fixed wings from which it derives most of its lift
I ain't seeing any electric hybrid buses in that definition tho
+1@DPSAircraftManufacturer shameless advertising lol
+1Looks cool! Maybe the wings are too swept.
+1Also, your pics ain't working, here are the links:

@FlyingFish1 Yes, but pistons use Inputs, pylons use Activation Groups

@Hyattorama what model of the inspiron do you own? I don't think its completely hopeless

+1you don't. You'll need to upload it to a third party site and then embed it into SP

+1Please explain your thought process behind posting this, I am very interested
+1Someone already did it, so that may be why it did not gain much traction. IIRC even back then it wasn't much of a hit
