@RodWan I don't think memory is the issue. And IIRC someone from Jundroo already said that real multi-core is beyond them as Unity doesn't support it. I might be wrong on that one, though
@DPSAircraftManufacturer yeah, but before I start I want to add thrust vectoring to the main engine, I already had a somewhat functional prototype before this plane used my engine, so I may refurbish that. It will give the plane increased maneuverability on the pitch, and potentially the yaw axis
@DPSAircraftManufacturer ye we could do a project together, @wzr1 could design the airframe, you could take care of the engines, and I could some final tweaks and maybe some XML magic that I was practicing lately
@RamboJutter well... the fan blades are from the default blasto engine, except I scaled it so it is squished, and the entire thrust reverser is just one additional fuselage and one piston. I was thinking about making everything custom, including the blades, but in my opinion that's not worth the trouble and nudging hell when I could do this :D
@asteroidbook345 When I was working on this, I thought I'm already making a huge engine, but compared to the monster like the GE9X, it's still lagging behind, so an SD-2000 maybe? :D
@wzr1 nah, do not wait. It is worth entering every tournament. There are people whose planes crash couple seconds after start, which means free points for you! It doesn't matter if you win the tournament, every opponent you disqualify gives you 500 points I think, maybe less
@CSP27 I usually use one of my undeveloped planes, but I made an Ilyushin 96 with an empty engine pylon and a special tail, for engine testing. I use it mainly to fly the engine around, to make sure no parts fall off during high-G maneuvers, or that a propeller will not overspeed.
@Minecraftpoweer I don't think it was me. But you did help me with my Dassault Mercure when it was pitching up (or down?) excessively, so maybe we both got it mixed up
@Mattangi2 @TheOwlAce Actually, when was this added to the game? I remember, not long ago, that the Orbit and Chase views were always centered at the cockpit
@JelloAircraftCorporation I highly doubt that. A loud an huge plane like that would not work as a great recon thingy. Besides, their fifth-gen fighter jets can fly higher, faster and quieter. Also, if that really was a Russian plane, then its entrance into NATO airspace could be viewed as an act of aggression and declaration of war.
@Gravity if you import it, there should be two new folders in your assets; Jundroo and Simpleplanes. Simpleplanes is the one where you can find the assets you want. For scripted stuff like ships, bridges or the windsock, you import them via gameobjects
By the way, you get both mod tools and assets with every copy of the game, it is either in the game directory (under ModTools folder), or in Appdata/LocalLow/Jundroo/SimplePlanes/ModTools. I am not 100% sure as I use Linux which has a bit different folder system (unlike windows, it makes sence and also uses the normal / instead of the reversed one which this website doesn't even want to display)
@JelloAircraftCorporation I know I already said that many times, but; that's what I was thinking! HOWEVER, another question arises, and that is what the fricc is Tu-95 doing over the Czech Rep. The only operator of the 95 is the Russian Air Force, and Ukraine grounded their 95s long time ago.
@FastDan ohgod how is the cooldown not stopping you :O
@ThePrototype Ah, I didn't know that. But AFAIK the glider was downscaled, so they couldn't even install the engine in, could they?

@EternalDarkness
and
@CSP27
Thanks for subscribing I guess
@Remote a bit off topic, but sounds useful
@Minecraftpoweer ye, too bad I can't use mods lol
@Baldovino kul
btw, I smell a lot of controversy regarding shakers, so, ya know, I'll rather use something different and hope to beat at least one unfortunate fellow
@Tully2001 is it allowed to disable collisions?
@DPSAircraftManufacturer actually, I got it down to 0:50, I'll tag you
@wzr1 @DPSAircraftManufacturer with thrust vectoring it finished in 0:53
@DPSAircraftManufacturer yeah, but before I start I want to add thrust vectoring to the main engine, I already had a somewhat functional prototype before this plane used my engine, so I may refurbish that. It will give the plane increased maneuverability on the pitch, and potentially the yaw axis

@wzr1 also, do you intend to use this in a tournament? If so, you will have to get rid of all XML-modified parts
@wzr1 I might make a variant of the ramjet with thrust vectoring. I will use this airplane to test how it fits, and will report to you when I'm done!
nvm I just looked it up, neat-o
what is the grey plane in the last picture?
@RamboJutter well... the fan blades are from the default blasto engine, except I scaled it so it is squished, and the entire thrust reverser is just one additional fuselage and one piston. @CSP27 ye sry I was asleep already, I'll tag you
@wzr1 nah, do not wait. It is worth entering every tournament. There are people whose planes crash couple seconds after start, which means free points for you! It doesn't matter if you win the tournament, every opponent you disqualify gives you 500 points I think, maybe less
@Nerfenthusiast not for long, I promise
oh no

We can collab sometime, or if you need help with stuff like reversers, hit me up
Me: autistic screeching
@zoomzoom999 Inspired by the Dreamliner ;)
Thank you for the request btw, I learned new techniques and really like this particular engine
@Minecraftpoweer I don't think it was me. But you did help me with my Dassault Mercure when it was pitching up (or down?) excessively, so maybe we both got it mixed up
@Minecraftpoweer read the post above
@Wkfish oh I see now... damn
@Wkfish wait where did you find it lol
I thought it's well hidden
@robloxweponco not anymore, luckily the time I wasted on it was not completely pointless
I hope you participate when a new tournament drops
The fact that this thing can even finish the race amazes me, as most of my racer planes fail to do so :D
sounds original (Lenny face here)
@RailfanEthan I think just two, but they were pretty light hearted
@Mattangi2 @TheOwlAce Actually, when was this added to the game? I remember, not long ago, that the Orbit and Chase views were always centered at the cockpit
The Skychaser Company has remained unscathed and is ready to provide the air force with new machines and technologies
@jamesPLANESii Look at the ID of the corasair. Almost like if it was saying "vintage"
Tag me on the triple
@NewBohemia You are threatening the busyness of Skychaser Company, we rely heavily on exports to foreign nations.
i think somebody has asked that before though, hmmmmmmmmmm
@CRJ900Pilot it's fine, there hasn't been a lot of progress on my side either
@JelloAircraftCorporation I highly doubt that. A loud an huge plane like that would not work as a great recon thingy. Besides, their fifth-gen fighter jets can fly higher, faster and quieter. By the other way, in Unity, go to Assets > Import, and you can import both .unitypackage files (I think)

@DepressedTortoise my map's gonna have it shhh

@TheLegend69 yes, also that. I forgot to mention it
