@EternalDarkness and talking about Netherlands, what about "Czech Republic", eh?
Some manufacturers include: Let Kunovice, Aero Vodochody, Letov Kbely, Zlin Aviation and most famous planes probably the L-13 Blanik, L-410 Turbolet, L-159 ALCA and now the Aero F/A-259 Striker
@HegemonyCricket Another thing you could do would be creating and spawning AI targets yourself. I personally completely suck at bombing, and fighting in general, so I can't give you much more advice...
@Minecraftpoweer If he deletes the entire SP data folder, Steam should detect it and re-download the default aircraft. If not, then an integrity check should take care of it
I see your problem; SimplePlanes stores aircraft and user data into C:/Users/(username)/AppData/LocalLow/Jundroo/SimplePlanes
And this folder is the same no matter the steam account.
A solution would be creating a new windows account for yourself and launching SP from that. Then you would get your own data folder
@Texasfam04
GUI = Graphical user interface, e.g. nice buttons'n'stuff instead of editing lines of text
And python3 is a programming language that is easy to learn and is great with file handling, and also works on every single OS that runs SP
@Texasfam04 np. It would be nice if a mod similar to Overload provided us with a simpler way to do this stuff, with some GUI. In fact, I am working on a Subassembly Manager based on Python3
The prop pitch can get a bit derpy. However, the largest issue I see with what you are trying to accomplish is that the rotor will inevitably get replaced by a 2D blurred texture when it is spinning fast enough, which is quite annoying if you ask me. I tried avoiding that by limiting the maximum RPM, but then the propeller would explode every time there was a slight change in velocity due to overspeeding.
A more plausible and much easier-to-make solution would be something like overload that would let us edit the connections, simply changing two ID values.
It may not look as good as entire plane turning transparent and stuff, but it would work and be easy to implement
@asteroidbook345 I'm back now, and will work on the nuclear engine soon. Thank you for the suggestion, it was an interesting read about what the engine is and what it can do
@WhiteRabbit yes, there are only couple small islands in SP, but at least there are runways'n'stuff on them. In SR2, you will take off, and what... That is why I proposed for SP to have only one small and detailed planet with many airfields, forests, mountains, etc.
@PhantomBladeCorp so... In 1945 they were able to build it in a few years, and we in 2018 with futuristic technologies, drones, space travel and the internet will work on it for several decades :D
@RodWan Well, to be fair, more allocated memory could help with airplane loading when the game goes back into focus, sometimes it has me waiting for a minute before it starts to respond, but that may be a Linux issue
@Static hopefully before this month ends, I did some tests but then my main PC died (for, like, the twentieth time this year), so I'm again stuck with a laptop that can't really handle it :/
@LiamW Yes, some glider also have forward swept wings, but not as excessive as the Ju-287, the Su-47 was cancelled, the X-28 as well (but it did develop some neat stabilization systems tho), and Spectre and Vantage have much less sweep. It must've been really difficult making the plane stable all the way back in 1940s
@XjayIndustrys yup, one L-610 is parked at Kbely I think. One is on a pedestal in Brno and one may be parked at the Kunovice airport where Let manufactured it, but I am not exactly sure about the last one
@tsampoy I usually just end up with a couple nuclear ones somewhere on a hill so they're visible from the city.
@tsampoy me too. Only those power plants in CS are pretty small and weak compared to real ones

@RailfanEthan seems like I skipped a lot in the "TR" category, I just added train, trainer and triplane
or have two dedicated trim control surfaces, and toggle them so one will work at low speed and the other at high
@Texasfam04 that is very weird indeed. Would you mind tagging me? I have never encountered such issue
@HegemonyCricket Another thing you could do would be creating and spawning AI targets yourself. I personally completely suck at bombing, and fighting in general, so I can't give you much more advice...
amazing
Technically, even if you run out of time, you are still able to fly, no?
I might make something. I was planning to create a Skychaser Dynamics weaponry division anyway.
@robloxweponco a'igt well I'm on it
yes
I will upvote if you explain what this is
@Minecraftpoweer thats what I meant
@Minecraftpoweer If he deletes the entire SP data folder, Steam should detect it and re-download the default aircraft. If not, then an integrity check should take care of it
Or if your brother does not use the computer, you can just wipe the folder like you did with the game folder, and that would get rid of his planes
I see your problem; SimplePlanes stores aircraft and user data into C:/Users/(username)/AppData/LocalLow/Jundroo/SimplePlanes

@Oski from what I've seen, the .xml will be very similar, so most likely yes.
Try mass 0.0001, not that much different
@Chancey21 o yea. It is coming together really well. If, by really well you mean "being detected by AVG as malware"
Hey, how about
we patiently wait for SR2, buy it, and play it if we like it
@Chancey21 a'ight boss man what is happening

@trolman added, and also sorry for the delay, turns out I missed more notifications than I thought

it good i like yes
this is great
Das gonna B pretty hard 2 implement imho
Good... Good...

Luckily for us, there is no way for modders to create custom AI
@Feanor o thank you
@Botfinder but it has cool wings tho
Are you from the glorious Czech Republic?
@ForeverPie but it would ruin my joke as well, shhh...
@QingyuZhou to be fair, I'm just surprised it wasn't already taken
@RodWan Well, to be fair, more allocated memory could help with airplane loading when the game goes back into focus, sometimes it has me waiting for a minute before it starts to respond, but that may be a Linux issue
