@jamesPLANESii oh I was researching the naming scheme, and the possible names after the 797 are:
1707, 1717, 1727, ...
807, 817, 827, ...
7A7, 7B7, 7C7, ...
AFAIK the 797 is intended to be used together with the 737, hence the term "MOM" (middle of market). The 797 is basically a beefed up 737, it will have longer range than the 737, it will carry more people than the 737, but it will not cross into the market of the 777/787/A330.
Currently there is a high demand for long-haul, (relatively) low-capacity direct routes between non-hub airports.
Coincidentally, I have already made a basic chart visualizing the capacity/range ratio based on real values, and you can clearly see the blank gap in the middle, with B797 nicely placed in there.
It would also make no sense for Boeing to be developing a new aircraft intended to replace their bestseller that is still being actively ordered in large quantities.
Of course, some planes will get replaced, but only in those cases where the airline is forced to used a plane that is much larger than what is required, which is a good thing for airlines because they can take their 777s/787s/A330s from routes with low load factor and use them somewhere where they will be much more profitable. Also, it will be a great plane for Transport Tycoon that I will surely use to connect those pesky towns that are too small to fill my A380s >:C
@Mustang51 yeah, but it is not very powerful, at least not enough to lift many bombs or anything. You see that I used 6 enlarged spinners just to lift this relatively light plane.
I have 300+ on Steam, but that doesn't account for another circa 400 that I played on a Linux system directly from the .exe file. I guess I will never know the real value :(
@Mustang51 here is the refined version. It is 50mph faster, looks better, can take off without any fuel, and also is less likely to stall and fall and crash and burn and die
@Mustang51 I have also experimented with a variant that had two cycling pistons on its tail that would make it "jump" forward, making little peaks of velocity and the glitched props would then multiply the velocity and maintain it, but it looked like a retarded caterpillar so I scrapped it
@Mustang51 that's the problem - the engines themselves are too weak to lift the plane, even with variable pitch. That is why I was confused how can those relatively slow engines maintain the speed even when ascending or cruising in a straight line
@AdlerSteiner hold up there son you have changed the rules didn't you? I don't remember it saying that weapons are required. I am working on an airliner kinda so yeah too bad for me I guess
Just a lil' update; this week gonna be very busy because I am moving to a different house, so expect the work to be resumed either on Wednesday or the weekend
Just to clear things up; This a backup of >this< pastebin paste, because pastebin occasionaly goes down for couple hours. This list is intended for use in >this< thing, so yeah, sorry for bothering
EDIT: also, I can't write this explanation in the message body itself, because reasons

kinda reminds me of the Geophysica
@Mostly your avatar makes the comment even better
tag me, I have some suspicion

@Mustang51 that's progress yeah! Now I only want to make a racer version that can go much faster and then I will most likely move on from the KG line
I have 300+ on Steam, but that doesn't account for another circa 400 that I played on a Linux system directly from the .exe file. I guess I will never know the real value :(
@Airdude me too tbh, but given it's underwater capabilities I am thinking about an ultimate anti-naval aircraft that can submerge to avoid missiles :D
+1@Jkbrown0116 @Airdude also, welcome back I guess! I see your latest posts are from a distant past.
+1@FastDan oh thanks for reminding!
+1@Mustang51 thanks for that! It is my favorite plane from now on, I just amazed myself
@Jkbrown0116 btw I just discovered that it can fly underwater without losing control or much speed (160mph)
+1@Jkbrown0116 and I love that you called it a creature
@Mustang51 here is the refined version. It is 50mph faster, looks better, can take off without any fuel, and also is less likely to stall and fall and crash and burn and die
+2@Mustang51 not really, I have overwritten it, but I am working on a refined concept using this glitch that I'll post later
@Mustang51 I have also experimented with a variant that had two cycling pistons on its tail that would make it "jump" forward, making little peaks of velocity and the glitched props would then multiply the velocity and maintain it, but it looked like a retarded caterpillar so I scrapped it

@Epicdude1174747 oh ok
WHY is it called DRT?

And adding hashes in front of lines makes them big n blue
liek tgis
r dis
Or you can just add in hidden rudders and make it like a normal plane
+1Nah
@AdlerSteiner hold up there son you have changed the rules didn't you? I don't remember it saying that weapons are required. I am working on an airliner kinda so yeah too bad for me I guess
@TehDuck oh excuse me, I am terribly sorry that you clicked onto something that clearly told you to ignore it >:C
+6@Wolfieboy1555 wat
@RailfanEthan damn this is the first time I got into top 3 :D
count me in boii
@Wolfieboy1555 he replaced missiles with rocket pods tho
love the description
Wait wait wait, so Awsomur's name is Carson, CarsonG's name is Carson and XDImension's name is Carson? Any more Carsons around here?
+1@apfel33 that is true, we'll see if the devs add WASD control / joystick support, or if we'll be forced to use the axis rotation as shown in trailer
@Ryn176 except it does not look futuristic at all, if anything it looks like a big flying trashcan
@FastDan not really, but yeah
+1@jamesPLANESii magyx (actually I don't want people to spam it it's just a little goof I can tell you under an unlisted post tho)
@Dllama4 normally if you click it it redirects to you SimpleRockets.com
Nois
@apfel33 look again in the latest blog post. All we need now are jet engines and we have it
@Oski that sounds like a great idea actually. I hope that gets added
Just a lil' update; this week gonna be very busy because I am moving to a different house, so expect the work to be resumed either on Wednesday or the weekend
@ThePilotDude I have yet to start with TPD, but I'll link you a screenshot when I have something
@PorkyClown3 print screen and a lot of scrolling
@Tully2001 k done, all 4044 of them
+5EDIT: you were right, it now looks so satisfying
@PhantomBladeCorp then you read the comment

+3y tho
@Jetspeed1001 it's not particularly easy to do from a PC that doesn't have SP installed (god bless Linux)
@Jetspeed1001 not on the forums, nah
THIS IS NOT HOW YOU IGNORE >:C
(made this as a backup because pastebin sometimes dies for couple hours)
