@CanadianAircraftBuilder
I could tag you on an unlisted post so that you get a taste of it if you’d like… or you could wait a few weeks. Either way, this one’s from a pretty significant incident that gets overshadowed by another.
@CanadianAircraftBuilder
At the moment, no. However, I am currently working on another Canadian airline livery. Can’t say much else than that at the moment tho.
@JacksEpicGamingYT
I have like 50 mods and only like… 8 are active 😅
Really all I use are Overload and Fine Tuner, plus a few mods that add other airports and islands into the standard map.
@JacksEpicGamingYT
Thank you, I’ll consider that offer! I’ve played around with SP Extra and lighting effects before but my game and the mod just don’t get along… especially in multiplayer. I’ve also been playing with some better weather/cloud mods while trying to not make my PC go full nuclear meltdown.
One last thing... My skill issue struck again and I made some small errors with the paint beneath the wings and on the horizontal stabilizer. Here is the paint correction fixed version
Last Batch of VERY late tags for original creators of aircraft components, yes I know, skill issue+two working brain cells+whatever else. I know XAircraftManufacturer is already aware of the aircraft, but I should do this anyways.

That would be interesting... United Express 6291 DID occur in my home state... but there's a problem with that. As far as I can tell... there's no reliable template for a BAe Jetstream... and my skills with creating an original aircraft from scratch are far from being... well... good.
I'm afraid that at least for the time being, the answer is no. I'll add that to my list of things to do in the 'potential future projects' section though.
@asteroidbook345
Literal One Punch Man moment. Just tapped it with the edge of an iPhone and the screen shatters like it’s been shot with a pistol…
Well at least it’s just the screen and you can get the fixed relatively quickly.
@CanadianAircraftBuilder
I uhhh….
I actually struggled a lot. The two stripes were almost impossible to get right and I got to a point where my brain just could deal with my ocd anymore and just said ‘yknow what? Leaving it like that, I don’t care anymore’
Then there was the tail logo which kept having parts auto reconnect meaning the rudder would stop moving… then the rear right aft cargo door…
Then there’s the overall color of the aircraft itself. Like I tried to find a good fit, but without a preset texture, it’s very hard. In all the reference photos I was using, there was scratching and rusting on the paint, but I could only change the metallic/smoothness. I wish there was a texture option (like if you’ve ever played spore, there’s preset textures you can apply to objects then paint them)
Then I had to replace each engine individually with PW JT9Ds to make it look more like a classic 747-200.
There was a point making the logo on the tail and… imagine taking a 2D circle cutout, placing it flat on the floor, and spinning it. Now imagine the vertical stabilizer surface as the floor and one of the circles that makes up the logo as the 2D cutout. There was a good 30 minutes at one point where I was struggling and getting genuinely angry because I could quite get the rotation right… then I realized it didn’t matter how much I rotated it on that axis because it’s a circle 💀
For someone without a skill issue, definitely easy. For me? Uhhh…. Hell.
@waffles101
Just double checking, but can people use this as a template? I have an idea and this looks to be a good fit for what I have in mind for next project.
@TheD2O
Thank you! The Pentagon was American 77 tho, not United 93.
There was
AA 11: N. Tower
UA 175: S. Tower
AA 77: Pentagon
UA 93: US Capitol (but never made it)
@Decembermin
Would it be alright with you if I used a blank version of this as a template for my next project? I can't find another 747-200F model with a side cargo door. I know XAircraft made the original but I don't know if you added the cargo modifications or not. Thanks in advance!
Note: Apparently I had a major skill issue and forgot to center the tail logo. I already linked a fixed version in the description, but I decided to make a pinned comment as well.
@KangBaksoSoeharto
Uhmmm… I don’t know how to interpret this, so I’ll just ramble off facts.
United is one of the oldest airlines in the US that still operates. They’ve been in service since the mid 1920s…
I mean excluding terror related incidents, United has had its fair share of accidents.
United 718: 1956, mid air collision of a United DC-7 and a TWA Lockheed L-1049.
United 173: 1978, fuel exhaustion on a DC-8 caused by pilot error
United 811: 1989, cargo door blows out on a
747-100, causing an explosive decompression.
United 232: 1989, total hydraulic failure on a DC-10 caused by fracturing of a turbine blade.
United 585: 1991, rudder hardover on a 737-200.
United 863: 1998, Near CFIT of a 747-400 after shutdown of an engine during takeoff
United 328: 2021, catastrophic uncontained engine failure of a 777. Still under investigation.
But yah… I mean United is still flying (their current livery sucks though. It’s not even theirs, it’s just the Continental Airlines livery with United slapped onto it)

There we go... you are tagged on the post
@CanadianAircraftBuilder
Aight, I’ll do that right now! Give me a moment.

Really wish I had been told this stuff when I started... I'd say I look like an idiot but I mean there's no questioning that
@CanadianAircraftBuilder
Ah, I wasn’t sure if @-ing them in the description worked the same as tagging or not. I’ll do that now.

Wow a compliment! Don’t get many of those anymore 💀
No but seriously, thank you.

I’m sorry… what do you mean you ’boinked it with your phone’?
That’s not a boink. That’s a full on YEET right into the monitor if I’ve ever seen one.
But seriously, that sucks to see man. Hopefully it’s just the screen that’s busted.
Oh I’m gonna have a lot of fun with this
JAL 958 moment.
Ooooo, this looks quite nice + a low part count too! Are we allowed to use this as a template to make liveries?

(I may or may not have had plans to make a Saul Bass DC-10 as well lol)

Yes! I’m loving the new foreign airlines! Keep up the good work!
I don’t want to be that guy… but I don’t think it’s spelled ‘sacandinavian’ lol. Or maybe that’s done intentionally.
Nice otherwise tho!
@Decembermin
Oh of course I’ll mention them and you. I was just asking because I didn’t know if you had made the cargo modifications yourself or not.
Thanks!
