One of the top five things that rubs me the wrong way. Normally I wouldn’t give af about forum bs spam, but you can see how I’d get a little bit upset when it’s implied I’m using an alt to spam.

I feel like the best way you could measure out your drag in game to get it to where your aircraft behaves in a realistic-ish manner or speed is just through repeated experimentation. Apply drag with overload evenly across the aircraft and increase or decrease that value repeatedly after lots of testing.
Alright I may just be stupid in not understanding the question but do you mean in general how much drag does an airliner produce or just in SP? I mean the game tells you how many drag points you have.
Drag isn’t really something with a constant value so it’s not easy to measure. IRL you find it with an equation (Drag=Drag Coefficient * Density * Velocity Squared/2 * Area). Then that number is expressed in Newtons but I’d have no idea how you convert Newtons to drag points in SP.

Wow, two good successors using the Atlasjet MD-80 in a week? I’m so used to seeing complete slop in my notifications that this has been a series of nice surprises. Looks good!

Well I was away from home out of state doing an internship and one night I’m being sent all these photos of this bright red/pink aurora taken just 20 miles south of where I was so I rushed outside down to the street for a clear view of the sky and there was nothing. So I went to take a photo to show I couldn’t see anything but when the photo processed I could see red. I thought maybe my finger had covered the lens partially so I took a few more and it was still there, and that’s when I realized (with immeasurable disappointment) that there definitely was an aurora but I couldn’t see it with the naked eye. Which is crazy because I was pretty far north and there was practically zero light pollution other than the occasional car going down the highway.
Need to get up to Alaska or something one of these days.

To me it was just a pitch black night sky with stars and a full moon unless I looked at the sky through the phone camera. Something about how the Iphone camera is able to capture more light at once and then composite that light.
The best explanation I’ve heard is that a lot of people find this as a… comfort game if that makes any sense. It’s a game you can come back to and be creative in and just have fun.
Also considering the community has lots of likeminded individuals with similar interests… that probably doesn’t hurt either.

Just got back home from a job out of state. Trying to decompress. Bought a new figurine I’m quite happy about. Otherwise I woke up at like 6AM to take a piss and couldn’t fall back asleep so now I’m tired but can’t take a nap since I have to fill out other forms and crap later :/

I’m not going to go into too much detail for everyone’s sake, but the abbreviated story is a bit like this. ‘Mark’ was the alt of another user (who will remain unnamed) who had done a public face reveal on their youtube channel. When the video began circulating in SP discord servers, said user became erratic and claimed he was ‘doxxed’ (he wasn’t). User then got on the nerves of essentially half the community and then left said servers and then reappeared several months later as ‘Mark’ who tried to stir up drama, make false allegations, and then attempted to send IP grabbers to multiple people with disguised links to… get back at them because he didn’t like them? And he got IP banned as a result.
Edit: Yes, this is the abbreviated version of events. I’m not gonna sit here and type out a whole essay.
I cannot emphasize how far my jaw dropped when I saw this while scrolling. You somehow managed to do the optical illusion with the stripes… I have no words. Well done.

I agree he doesn’t owe anybody anything nor does he know us personally. But considering we’re fairly close friends and he’s active in multiple games and communities, to disappear without a trace is uncharacteristic. Given his background history of mental health, that adds concern. All I’m trying to figure out is if he’s alive and well. If he wants to leave the internet forever and leave nothing behind, then I’ll support his decision. All I want to know is if he’s okay.

He didn’t leave any message before he went missing. No cryptic DM, no message implying any immediate danger, nothing. Just Thanos snapped out of existence. So there’s nothing I can report to Discord. I can’t get in contact with law enforcement either because I don’t know his name nor do I have a reason for calling them other than a gut feeling. Nothing was left behind. To go and delete all those profiles and slip away unnoticed is a lot of work, which is the part that’s most perplexing. Like why do that?
Assuming he didn’t just get fed up with the internet or got his email hijacked or something, there is a silver lining. His parents are aware of his issues so in the event something did happen, there’s a good chance it was caught in time.
Again, Albertan, if you’re scrolling through the forums right now and you see this, give me something to work with. There’s people worried about you.

At the moment I have no plans to make anything. I’m busy with my job so the free time I get I spend doing other stuff.
I’ll probably do some stuff again once SP2 fully releases and I’d like to try out some different things.
