Rip, I'm building an Fw-190 too. Mines the A-8 model though.
Btw, they had split flaps, so you wouldn't have the entire section of the wing move, just the bottom half.
I'm struggling to see the similarities, the two fusalage are completely different. The no. of points and slats could be the same cause their the same on the actual plane, and even then, the slats on yours are different to the slats on this one.
@Gestour
That's a bit rude, just because you can't do something well doesn't mean that someone else can't do it well either. You can do a lot on iOS, don't underestimate it. Just look at my builds, I only build on iOS, a good number of people enjoy what I make. @Gygy393
Well, there's always WW2, but that's starting to get a bit repetitive. We've got the Cold War era, or we could go for modern? Even WW1 would work, although it feels kinda small for a collaboration. @F4f879
Well if you pull high g turns, the gun sight needs to recalibrate, which it did on the real thing. I do admit that it doesn't work and is just a gimmick and an experiment for later on. @CRJ900Pilot
You can achieve many of these textures by simply changing the glossyness of the paint. Aluminium is generally quite shiny, steels a bit duller ect. As for how tough they are, you can easily XML edit that to your needs. The only material in there that would be useful to everyone would probably be glass, since then you can build cockpits that aren't just open to the elements.
It's far from perfect, which I kinda accepted after a while due its complexity in real life. I do have a test plane which has the gunsight installed with less than 200 parts if you wish to have a look. @Weaverfish
1.7 came out literally a couple months ago and your already expecting a 1.8 teaser?!? Just hold your horses there, things take time you know, the world doesn't revolve around you matey.
Well, that's quite flattering XD, but never mind that. I think after a several months I've just gotten used to the platform and what it can and cannot do. My builds have gotten better with the additional tools added in 1.7 however, that's definitely a no brainer. I'm a big fan of your works too, and as you might be able to tell, am heavily inspired by your build style. @Johndfg
I would love to test it, but I'm on mobile, so there's little hope of that. Also, that Christmas tree in the cockpit is a nice festive touch might I say.
Well this one was meant to calculate the amount of lead required, hence why it buzzes all over the place. I think WeaverFish may have done something similar to what you were suggesting, and his generally quite good at gunsights. Maybe have a look at his stuff? @DuckMintnewprofile
It is a very interesting gunsight, though I myself haven't made it very accurate :/. If you do want to make one similar to this sort of design, it relies on two gyros on a floppy piece of fusalage hidden inside the plane. I'd love to see what you make of it! @DuckMintnewprofile
That's usually when you come in for a landing. If you hit hard, you'll upset the sync and then you'll get the different blades. It was my one concern, but there was no other feasible way to get it the speed needed. @Piggyback11
The artificial horizon is made of beacon lights most likely, and relies on a gyro attached to a floppy rotator to keep the horizon line. It's is very well made. @F4f879
Personally, I think you've got quite a variety of creations now, which is good as you'll quickly grasp at new concepts ect. You are really quite skilled at lettering, something that I'll need to improve on. WW2 planes are quite obviously your forte, which is quite alright. Overall, if you keep these standards up, you'll do excellently!
(P.S. I sometimes get paranoid of losing saves, so I upload an unlisted every once in a while.)
Well, remember how you wanted a P-47D? You happen to be in luck (kind of). I'm currently making a P-47N, though it's way over 800 parts, but maybe you'll be interested? @Zerokiller3
Yeah, that's up to you @CRJ900Pilot
Rip, I'm building an Fw-190 too. Mines the A-8 model though.

So your saying all iOS users are bad? @Gygy393

Any specific ideas? @EpicPigster1 @F4f879

That's the point, but yeah it's not entirely accurate. @CRJ900Pilot

Try using Imgur, it'll give you a link that you paste into this format:

@Kentheman
Are these meant to be pictures? You might want to try some other image platform, this one just gives slabs of text, @Kentheman
Maybe something went wrong?
Oh also, the black strip at the top is more like a dark green/yellow. Correct me if I'm wrong however.
You can still just edit those via XML @ILikePlanez

This is much better than my gunsight, wish I could've seen this earlier

Looking real nice now!
Still, simple rockets 2 has been the dev teams priority for now. @AttestedArk

I like how it turned out, very nice build!
+1I used war thunder to gather some of the infomation XD, glad you like it. @FatNinja

No. 2, Never seen anything like it on this website before
No worries, it looks very nice. I never got the notification for that comment though @RailfanEthan
What ChiChi described can be caused by part mirroring. @Marine
Yes it can @Marine
I meant that mirroring can cause the problem @Marine
Or different attachment points in wings ect when mirroring.

+1It's been awhile since I've done a camo like this, but I'll see what I can do. @Razor3278
