As Qingyu said, it’s obvious that none of us want you to leave. We all have periods where we have no inspiration, no motivation to keep going, so we take a break. But after that break we can come back better than ever, with more inspiration to try new things. Adding on to that, personally I think the constraint of not doing what you want to do (e.g. WW2) is a bad thing, we shouldn’t let others dictate what we want to do. Look at me for example, I only make WW2 planes and barely any ships or cars. Many of us specialise in one thing, and I think what we first build is what we like the most. But the choice is yours, sometimes we just have to move on.
The aircraft are at times a bit difficult and hard to control, maybe if you used some scaled down wings they’d perform better at the current scale. Dive and torp bombers would be quite nice too.@Datom
The lack of size is a shame, but I can understand why. The only complaint I have is how far the bridge sticks out of the deck, I feel as if it should be closer and more integrated.
Thanks man, a lot of people are interested in this build, but it’s been getting a bit dusty in the holding lane. Might start working on it again you know.
@TheGuyYouMightKnow
You plane looks pretty good, but it’s hard to tell from the pictures. Maybe you could tidy up some of the cockpit braces, but other than that the rest looks decent. @SeanTurbineModifier
They’re the only ones that cannot possible be done via normal parts, but having it as a input is more useful then having it as a part. Other instruments like artificial horizons can easily be made via gyros ect.
@SimpleAreospace
The one thing is that we need to be able to link our aircrafts altitude and speed to rotators and hinges, that would open up a wide range of opportunities.
Everyone’s skills are crappy at first, but it takes time to get better. Saying your crap means you’ve already lost the battle, keep on trying and have a look at builds you like for techniques. If you’re out of inspiration, what are your interests, WW2, Cold War, Modern or fictional? You could also watch an Airshow or two to see a plane that catches your eye.
Interesting to say the least, most definitely hypothetical, as no system like that would never work effectively for its intended use. I agree that you would have some greedy people who would never upvote, but then would that make those so called “greedy” members of the community quite unpopular. A side effect of this would be the dramatic increase of quality of builds, no one wants to throw precious points on mediocare builds. While this might seem good, it leaves newer players underexposed and left behind. As I said, very interesting thought, certainly not practical at all, but interesting.
It become easier after the 1.7 update, when they added the part transform tools. You can look at my builds before and after that update to get a better idea of what I mean. Other than that, time, patience and practise. @Victor039
Never, it’s too big. And unlike my Fletcher, I cannot split this in half and build it separately.
@Aircraftgenerator5000
I dunno, I made this ages ago. Didn’t really pay attention to blueprints.
@nuke778
Absolutely outstanding, but by golly, I don’t think anyone can run this lag free!

+3Well done, I commend all who make it to Platinum.
Yeah! Sound great. If you want, you could get started on the body, then we can work off there?
@TheGuyYouMightKnow
World war 2 genre sound alright, otherwise I can pick something else?
@TheGuyYouMightKnow
I’d collaborate if you want?
Is it alright if I use some of these engines for one of my planes?
I hope to see the final product!
+1@valaszki
You can use a panel technique in place of just a fusalage to make the wings get thinner as they go towards the trailing edge
@valaszki
Very nice, much better than the ones you’ve made before.

Thank you, let us hope lol
+1@TheGuyYouMightKnow
Sure, I’d be down for that. When you feel like it tell me what plane you wanna build.

I’d wish, but I know from experience that those think rigging lines will result in a very messy experience. @Antho1213
I’m interested in how the 3D printer would go about printing this lol
Indeed, especially when many can quite simply gather that many points in a single build...
+1@Rodrigo110
You can try and build it in two or more pieces, like my Fletcher
They do, if you can see the seam lines on the main wings. The elevons do as well. @phanps
As I’ve already said, this and the many other builds of years are of some of the highest quality I’ve ever seen.

+5Thank you, I hope I can reach bronze soon
@destroyerP
There was a big fiasco, then Latent removed and then put it back up, with a hidden list of upvoters and no comments
@destroyerP
Gold?, a bit late on that lol
@Strikefighter04
Was this on EpicPigsters Boeing 777?
I’m pretty sure WeebabySeamus does most of the featuring,
@FasterThanLight @chancey21 @Gravity

+1I see what you did there, lol
@jamesPLANESii
Thank you
@TheGuyYouMightKnow
Cheers, hopefully you’ll be up here soon enough!
@F4f879
Thank you! @Treadmill103 @Jetpackturtle @chancey21

+1Try a Su-33?
Thank you,
@TornadoRUS
Thank you
@CursedFlames
Yes, what @MrDoolittle said. That will work perfectly for what you want.
Cheers,
@Awsomur
Thanks man,
@Datom
As Eternal said, this camo is superb!

+1I’m big fan of all your works, you never cease to amaze me. Keep it up!
+2Your gravitar, the Su-33?
XD
@Victor039
Well, thank you for the push. I wasn’t expecting it, but here it is. Funny enough, my next build is of the one in your profile lol
@Victor039
Huh, funny how I’m building one of these right now. This looks very nice though.
Congratulations!
