All Cyrillic languages look the same until you actually get a closer look at them.
I used to always think that Russian and Ukrainian were the same, until I actually started learning both languages (didn't last long, now focusing on German). I noticed that there are actually two types of Russian. Don't know what the difference between the two is because I didn't actually inspect them. When learning the languages, I noticed that Ukrainian uses a bit more English characters than Cyrillic, such as "i".
There are two actually.
"і" and "ї". Most of it stays the same.
In most Cyrillic languages, they keep
"П", "Л", "Д" etc.
