@CDRxavier And I am making a real Remote Control model next year, made out of 2mm thick 7075 aluminum pannels, and having no 3D model meant I just have to create my own (lego canceled the 42009 Crane in 2015)
@RailfanEthan ANd if you are building directly from the manual, you are probably not going to use any fuslage parts
I do am going to upload the "carbon" version with most of the "big white panel" substituted with giant...STRUCTURAL PANELs.
@RailfanEthan My thoughts exactly, but the number of blocks is NOT the thing that slows you down in the game when driving and doing crane stuff (in the designer however that sucks)
5th generation fighter...lol
Ooo tank!
Gimme some WORKING tank tracks! (just kidding)
Go build a VERY SIMPLE boat with a SINGLE PISTON ENGINE that drives it.
If you know piston engines it would take like an hour.
I personally love the old-day pop-up headlights RALLY-RACER JUST LIKE the AE86. ANd my dream was to actually own one and go off for drifting.
Will I make one? Yes. On my priority list? No.
Currently I am busy (very busy) with my Lego 42009 Mobile Crane MK II, and it is GOING to reach 2,000 parts and I expect at least 20 upvotes.
Or I will just not join this community.
If using the person-who-think-I-am-making-junk's point of view, this one was also not very pleasing to the eye. My recommendation would be to fix the fuslage's upper "curve" and the landing gear. ALso consider hiding the fuel tank somewhere.
Is that good? quite a decent machine. For a starter.
If this plane is flying high speed, then sure. Take off speed is accepted if the top speed is around 1,000 mph.
But try and make the wings "flat bottom" if you want to lower that number--quite important if you were talking over a plae's performance.
@VOVAK
I am not saying it is bad in any way, but my past experneices told me that:
It have immense drag.
Admitting it being beautiful, but beauty is the last thing on my list, and usually I am not gonna do it. (I honestly had never built a plane that need one)
They do can stock some extra-fuel...
Don't say "plane from GTA 5" because that is not what it was called...
Obviously it was a private jet...
It would be a LEARJET from the look...
Learjet 24! Number N324TW will be good :)
@VOVAK
Don't be stuck when you can have multiple wings overlapping each other to have a bigger cross-section.
Fuslage wings are probably the dumbest thing to make...here. for now.
@QuantausAviation @WahrscheinlichIch @FGW2014
TECHNIC.
They came up with the new IMMENSE bucket wheel excavator but ditched the crane..
I WANT THE CRANE! (cries and tears)
I know that you are not the first (technically I am the first person I know to use it)
But the CURVY blades of the engine looks not so good
I do like the fact you are using cleavers-I NEVER figured out how to use even ONE of it
How come you basae this on the Bush plane?
And by the way, consider using some of the wing landing gears or similar things. Just from the look it should not have a good time landing...
@pavthepilot @CoolPeach
I agree with you. Sometime I had awesome ideas but is completely demolished when in construction or the part is not avilable in the size I want or the HITBOX is not correct and BLAH BLAH..
@pushthelimits @CursedFlames If it worked, it then will save it somewhere I cannot reach (the place the SImple Planes is stored, on the iPhone, you know)
TIP:
Most of the lego models you can find on lego.com come with electronic description of how to make it. So do not worry if you do not have this set or whatsoever-you got the E-books.
@Nickkidd Honesly I has made a bat with propellers but that one uses piston engines and so have to use two engine to cancel the torque.
I do have some torque- free ones.....
@CursedFlames The Tiger I was famous for being BOXY, which you did well at. The turret is also very detailed and accurate.
But as some is saying, the entire body was a bit low(track and the body should eat up half of the height each, the chassis around 4 times the height of the turret.
Other than that, it is amazng.
I like the idea.
POINT BEING, just have something called "flaps" on the wings altogether, since you can VTOL a rotator and have a "wing" attatched to it. Not if you want to build something big and you find yourself not having flaps.
@Gravity it is Franticmatty , no space and lowercase. Computer and websites are case sensitive.
@RailfanEthan I also do iPads, but depends on iPads (a iPad mini 2, which is in...2015, works not as well as iPad Air 2, or the new iPad, or iPad Pro, or WHATEVER.)
Speaking of which, how do you buy this on WINDOWS??????
@CRJ900Pilot
Well then I can only say that you need to:
1. Make your plane LIGHTER!!!
2. Move the landing gear forward (cannot do that because of the model going to be different than original? Refer to 1)
3. Break more gently
4. Your plane is perfect
@MethaManAircraft @Weaverfish
Never mind as you guys already solved that.
I do require a car engine with 2,000 hp and max speed of aroun 20kph, and two others rated at say, 200 hp with max speed of 20kph
I will quite agree with that. NONE of the existing engines of any kind accelerates correctly. ALL of them accelerates linearly, except the turbofan and turbojet which packs a bigger punch once the pressure build up.
I also met the problem when trying to make an aircraft tower-the ground vehicle used to tow planes that have like 2,000 horse power and immense acceleration but with top speed of 20kph
AND the same problem with my FLAK BUS, or Pz SFl IVc tank destroyer.
There is.
If you do not know SNOWSTONE (a very far away airport), there are AI controlled anti-aircraft missile launchers. But if you want to make a stationary one that will shoot you, no, because the AI will try and do it like it was a plane and potetially screw up everything. @Rogrigo110 said things that make a lot of sence to me. But if you want to dodge AA guns, the WWII destroyers and the USS beast is the closest things you can get. Next is the ones stationed in SNOWSTONE.
@CRJ900Pilot
Both of which are cool planes, but as you said, bracking upoon touchdown is potentially suiciding. I have a similar plane with this kind of setup and if you brake hard upon landing you will destroy the propeller. If you managed to make the nose weigh less and the rear weigh more, it can potentially solve the issue that when break hard, the nose goes down and destroys the propeller. That being said, Fw190 F was slightly better, but if one can go and change the weight distribution of the plane, it would be much better.
@Rodrigo110
That sounds cool.
But:
WHO CAME UP WITH THE IDEA THAT THE WHEELS DO NOT HAVE HITBOX FOR BLOCKS???
I literally want to kill the developer when I was trying to create some TRACKS and things EXPODED and not work
and ALL fuslage block have SQUaRE hitboxes. Hate that.
Wheels can be wider, but that is the only problem I see. Decent job.
@CDRxavier And I am making a real Remote Control model next year, made out of 2mm thick 7075 aluminum pannels, and having no 3D model meant I just have to create my own (lego canceled the 42009 Crane in 2015)
@RailfanEthan Honestly LEGO technician look pretty much like this (Beside have a unnecessarily sophisticated HAND-MADE what is like 10-speed gearbox)
@RailfanEthan ANd if you are building directly from the manual, you are probably not going to use any fuslage parts

lolol
That is why??!!
Fine.

But try and make the wings "flat bottom" if you want to lower that number--quite important if you were talking over a plae's performance.
Now that looks cool.
Someone says that things that are not based on real planes are completely crap.
LIE!
@VOVAK

@Nazarex113
Or Learjet 25? 60? 31? 40?
BLAH BLAH BLAH. Just stick with 28.
Don't say "plane from GTA 5" because that is not what it was called...

Same thing with my Lego 42009 Mobile Crane MK II.
The chassis (about HALF) was !!!1700!!! parts!!!
The rotating part and the arm was not even made...
I know that you are not the first (technically I am the first person I know to use it)
But the CURVY blades of the engine looks not so good
I do like the fact you are using cleavers-I NEVER figured out how to use even ONE of it

How come you basae this on the Bush plane?

lol
@DisferGoatz A can of baked beans....
@pavthepilot @CoolPeach
I agree with you. Sometime I had awesome ideas but is completely demolished when in construction or the part is not avilable in the size I want or the HITBOX is not correct and BLAH BLAH..
The wheels should be 7.5 units (SIMPLE PLANES!!!)
But I guess that will do for now.
@pushthelimits @CursedFlames If it worked, it then will save it somewhere I cannot reach (the place the SImple Planes is stored, on the iPhone, you know)
@CursedFlames @pushthelimits I know but then my game crashed--I was playing around with 1500+ parts on my PHONE!!!
It is a nice build. I liked it.
TIP:
Most of the lego models you can find on lego.com come with electronic description of how to make it. So do not worry if you do not have this set or whatsoever-you got the E-books.
For my crane, one block is 5mm. It is totally awesome and is absolutely a behemoth.
Thing is, I am working on my iPHONE!!!
@Nickkidd Honesly I has made a bat with propellers but that one uses piston engines and so have to use two engine to cancel the torque.
I do have some torque- free ones.....
@pushthelimits I really want to 3D print my plane. What format is it saving as, and where?

I do is looking for some propeller though...
I DO miss Autodesk Forceeffect...
@Awsomur @MechWARRIOR57 I know dude. Three-stared every level
@Gravity it is Franticmatty , no space and lowercase. Computer and websites are case sensitive.

Actually yes, because I had a TANK and I need cannons that fire BOOM 25s. But I want it to actually shoot shells without pressing buttons 12345678
Oh Autodesk forceeffect basically let you draw things in 3D, and let you set up points to see the forces it experiences when you apply force to it.
There is.

But that thing:
1. COSTS
2. NOT avilable on iOS
3. BORING and NOT a game
4. Limited function
But if you are an ARCHITECT, go for it.
