@SPsidearm if firearms are too small we could merge and become one company? You get to join and participate while I grow my company and you get your own division and shares of my company.
@MartinAeronautics it counts if at least one of the following are met:
A: The aircraft was developed (partly or fully) during the 60s
B: The aircraft’s first flight was in the 60s
C: The aircraft was put into service during the 60s.
D: The aircraft’s concept was designed in the 60s.
So yes, the B58 Hustler works for this challenge 🥳
@Graingy erm actually, it’s actually fair to call the B-1 (including the B-1A) a 1960s bomber, even though it didn’t fly until the ’70s. The program started in 1964, and almost everything that defines the aircraft—swing wings, Mach 2 flight, low level penetration, terrain following radar, and its nuclear mission—comes straight out of late 1960s Cold War era. By the time the B-1A first flew in 1974, the design was already years old; the 70s part is mostly testing and politics, not a new concept. So while it shows up on the timeline in the ’70s, it’s really a bomber designed in the ’60s and finished later, not something conceived as a 1970s aircraft.
Alright I’ve decided. I will join @Kav as GuardianAerospace if he wants me to. I will be referred to as the translated KE company for my KE country Guardian Aerospace.
I have a few questions, ik this is based on the SP map, but is it scaled up by any factor? The SP map in game is very small and 250 nukes is a lot for such a tiny area. And if so, are there like any cities or industrial sectors? I want to know every detail so I can do my best as a defense contractor
@WinsWings thank you! I wanted to make a new challenge that no one pays attention to. The 1960s in my opinion is extremely underrated in aviation, went from early jets and platforms to the development of 4 1/2 gen fighters.
