ZONE WARS!!

my first RP!

hey everyone, Zilo here. i wanted to make an RP for a while now, but just have gotten around to working on everything.

INFO:

a modern RP in an alternate history in which nations rushed to claim unknown and unclaimed land. it is mostly aviation based, however things like AA batteries, SAM sites, or ICBMs (ICBM only for Phase 3) are allowed.

7 IRL days = 1 RP year (starting as of 10/25/2025)

Current RP year: 2027 (in four years the fight begins, or 28 IRL days. 11/22/25 is the official IRL start date of the war. you have 4 weeks to prepare.)

RULES:

• No claiming an entire continent. skypark may be fully claimed if you are the only country there.
• All battles will need to be reported to me. Include what vehicles are involved, which countries, and what the objective is.
• A max of two countries (need to be in an alliance) can fight one country at a time. Multiple countries dogpiling onto one country is overpowering and unfair!
• Peace treaties, alliances, and exports will especially need to be reported to me.
• no overpowered aircraft. aircraft with many armaments or unreal maneuverability are allowed, but it needs a defined drawback. (example: the F/A-43 - including its strike variant - cant beat a wasp in a close range dogfight without using PSM, due to its PSM reliant flight style.)
• your vehicles must be past WW2, preferably past the cold war or at least based on cold war vehicles.

CURRENT PHASE: PLACEMENT

This is the first phase, the one where you submit your nations and no one fights. we populate the continents. 3 countries max per continent, excluding maywar and skypark. skypark is 2 countries, maywar is 4. additionally, lore can be made for your countries if you'd like. (carriers and boats are up to claim, not the black pearl and kraken though. these can give a tactical advantage. i have purposefully not claimed any, i want you all to have choice!)

this phase will end once we have 9 nations excluding my own (12 total), or after 14 IRL days. hurry up and join, spread the message to other by utilizing your profile!

each person can own up to 2 countries. (ventrell might be removed due to irrelevance)

CALENDAR

when do the phases start and end?

PHASE 1: PLACEMENT
settling down and preparing.

• Start: October 25, 2025 / 10/25/2025
• End: November 8, 2025 / 11/8/25
• Intermission: 2 weeks long, November 9 - November 21. gives time to create aircraft, lore, and talk with your fellow countries.

PHASE 2: CONTINENTAL CONFLICT
conflict inside of continents. never taken to other continents.

• Start: November 22, 2025 / 11/22/25
• End December 6, 2025 / 12/6/2025
• Intermission: 1 week long. gives time to prepare for the next phase.

PHASE 3: INTERCONTINENTAL CONFLICT
all boats can be utilized now. what ill be the outcome? who will rule the world?

• Start: December 15, 2025 / 12/15/25
• End: December 22, 2025 / 12/22/25
• No intermission. December 22 marks the end of Zone Wars, and right in the midst of Christmas. the winner will be crowned and rewarded.
