I’m order for an aircraft to stall, the AoA ( angle of attack) must be above the critical angle where the wing can no longer produce lift because of the increased area of turbulence over and behind the wing. For many planes the critical AoA is around 15 degrees.
@WNP78 is it possible to increase speed and preserve physics? is it a limit of the Unity engine or is it just to avoid over usage of the CPU. The reason why i'm asking is because I'm attempting to get 100000 drones with gun challenge and an auto turret.
@scratch I'm trying to but the problem with the time warp mod is that it decreases physics the more you time warp so above 10x, anything that isn't on the ground will spontaneously explode and above 20x, even things on the ground will explode. Also because of the decreased physics, the auto turrets are less accurate and take about the same amount of time to kill with and without the time warp. The pre existing fast forward preserves physics so it actually does go faster.
@Vosper also just ask me if you need a different angle range for either the vertical or horizontal movement (ie. limited to just the left side of the craft or only the hemisphere above the aircraft)
@Vosper he is correct, as not all turrets work the same. Some are self stabilized while others only work if they are kept completely flat. I did just release an angle limited tail gun and the full range of motion original design which you can take right off of it as long as you put it back on facing the same way
@AWESOMENESS360 Yah just attach some weights to my keyboard and let it run overnight. The reason why I stopped is because my hard drive was a few minutes away from running out of storage. Nothing that a quick clean up wont fix
@mike996 there's a bit of a suspension glitch going on in the pitch control. You could fix it by changing the pitch hinge rotator to only go like 50-60 degrees
@An2k yah people have already made a lead predictor with funky trees, at the time, I got rid of the need for a lead predictor by making the gun's muzzle velocity really high. It's basically a laser
i forget who asked but someone was wondering if i could limit the horizontal or vertical travel. I'm trying it out right now. The problem is that there are 2 sets of rotators, the ones that stabilize it relative to the map and keep it pointing in the same place, and the ones that actually point at the target. This means that there are 2 traverse rotators and 2 elevation rotators.

I haven't seen that done with a gyro but i have seen that done directly to control surfaces

+1Do u mean for example clamp01(Pitch) or do you mean combining both the roll and pitch into one surface which would be clamp(Pitch+Roll, -1, 1)

to get 100000 you would have to leave it running for 35 days according to my calculations

@Vosper there are 5 different rotators that are all connected in a certain way so i cant just paste the code in unfortunately
