@XjayIndustrys The max RPM was outside of the permitted range. This can happen for a couple of reasons. One the player the player obtained the prop engine from another plane that had XML modded its RPM values. The only safe way to put a non-XML modded prop engine on your plane is to pull it straight out from the part list and not get it from a different plane.
@AnthonyN165 No worries, if you don't catch your plane we will upload the whole thing to YouTube and all matches will link directly into the video at the exact moment of the match.
@JShay I did my best to support prop nudging inside other parts, but your plane is very unstable and crashed on position 1 and 2 of the race on my machine.
@WhiteWing I can't shorten the submission time by a day since some people may be relying on the extra time to get their submission in. In the future we can try and find a better time to stream, but don't forget we upload to YouTube afterwards as well.
@Seeras I'm sorry but I already spent all day yesterday improving it the best I could and I can't think of any thing else to improve stability of nudges prop engines.
@Baldovino I have changed my mind on this after seeing that several players have already submitted planes with old prop engines. I am allowing them for this tournament, however the next prop tournament they will not be allowed.
@Skua @Seeras @MediocrePlanes I spent all day yesterday trying to improve the stability of prop engines nudged inside other prop engines. I got it mostly working, but the turbo props are still pretty unstable when aggressively nudged inside of each other. @Seeras, your design blows up quite a bit on my machine because the blades are hitting other prop engines.
@A5mod3us I do like those ideas, though it's important to pick rules that can be easily automated and checked with code. Saying must have 2 props is easy, but saying pusher props is more difficult.

@kikasshes I just ran your plane and it works fine. I think it's safe to assume now that if your plane works correctly in the position 1, then it will work in position 2 on my machine when the tournament runs Monday.
@Skua @Seeras @MediocrePlanes I looked into the issue with the plane exploding on the secondary location, and it appears that prop engines that are nudged inside other parts are actually always colliding (even when in the primary starting position) and it just happens to cause an explosion on that secondary location. I have made a change to allow prop engines to live more peacefully inside of other parts and prevent collisions, but unfortunately you won't have access to a build with the new code until after this tournament. The good news is that none of your planes explode anymore.
@BRuthless Okay, we have decided to leave that bug in, but we will include that in the tournament validation check and disqualify any designs using that XML hack.
@AgDynamics There appears to be a bug in the empty weight calculation. When I manually remove the fuel from the plane, it drops about 101lbs in weight.
@AgDynamics 15 gallons at 350lbs is definitely wrong. Can you upload a plane showing this? I'm only getting about 100lbs-110lbs when adding 15 gallons of fuel to a fuselage or wing section.
@XVIindustries @Avgeekmarco09 @Belg @Stijnvdlinde Can you try changing other settings in Game Quality? What about Low, Medium, or High? Does it still keep crashing? Also, what is your exact device and what version of iOS are you running? Also, when does it crash exactly? While flying, in the plane designer, or in the menu? When transitioning between scenes?
@Baldovino No, that's a modded fuel tank and those are not allowed.
@FMR76 @MightyPlanes Correct. if every successor of the plane is yours then you can use that plane.
@MrMecha Patience young grasshopper.
I see what you did there.
@Jerqface go to the tournament page for an open tournament and click Submit your plane in the top right.
Amazing plane. Congrats on winning the tournament!

Wowsers
@Jackierascal44 You choose what plane you want when you submit a plane for a tournament.

Sorry, but no. We are sticking with gravatar.
@Baldovino Thanks, yes this is an issue. Sadly it will be tough to fix.
It is a problem, and it's annoying. You can just run the level and then exit back to the designer to get it re-centered.

@kikasshes I think the small prop is just underpowered and can't overcome the drag.
@Seeras I'm sorry but I already spent all day yesterday improving it the best I could and I can't think of any thing else to improve stability of nudges prop engines.

@Average3323 It's a good idea.

@Gg1234 yes, I checked it but only one response.
@MediocrePlanes It's fantastic!
@ViperGByt Computer controlled.

You are linking to web pages, but you need to link directly to the actual images.

@Thefalloutplayr Yes
@Baldovino I added it to the rules.
Sounds good, I added the tag.@WalrusAircraft @JetstreamAeroEngineering
@Viper28 Yes, but we need to improve the AI a little before we can make a tournament for dogfights, but I'm looking forward to that one.
@AeroEngineering No, any values outside normal ranges on an engine and we will disqualify the design.
@AtomicCookie02 go to the tournaments page. It should list all matches you were in and give you links to view the video.
@Skua @Seeras can you link me a plane? You can email it via the contact link at the bottom of the page if you want to keep it secret.
@Manboy2 I'll start the stream Monday morning, around 7AM CST.
@Baldovino Thanks, yep this will be excluded.
@Baldovino @JacobHardy64 Okay, sorry about that! Please, give it another try and let me know if it works now.

@Nickasaurus No, that shouldn't be possible without modding.

@JacobHardy64 Try submitting again, and let me know if you still get an error.
@BRuthless Okay, I see. That's definitely a bug and I have fixed it so planes will not be able to rely on that in the future.
@Medron That fuel tank does run out of fuel, the XML hack just messes up the display so that it always reports 0, but it will run out of fuel.
@Shmexysmpilot Good feedback. Thanks.
@Johawks1976 Yes structural mods are allowed.
@JShay Thanks! I'm glad you are enjoying it. No restrictions on modded wings. Only modded engines are disallowed.
