@DemonSniper8 Yep, it now allows manual entry and you can tweak the Rotation Amount so that you can click the < and > buttons to increment or decrement by any value you want.
@jamesPLANESii @DemonSniper8 This problem was specific to iOS, but the rotation sliders were a bit of a strange UI for this, so I've reworked it so that you can either use the sliders to rotate or enter angles in manually. The sliders no longer revert back to the middle, but rather stay at their respective position (ie: rotation 0 is in the middle, 180 is all the way to the right and -180 is all the way to the left).
The part transform tool will be improved in 1.8. Here's a screenshot.

For the 1.8 update, I've added a UI Size slider to the main menu settings. Changing the UI Size to 90% fixes the issue. Here's a screenshot.

If you already purchased SimplePlanes, then you should not need to purchase it again. Make sure you are logged in to Google Play with the same account you used to purchase SimplePlanes. Also, try clearing your Google Play cache and restarting your device.
@ForeverPie Thanks for the log file. You are getting several error messages, which can really slow the game down and very likely cause the game to spiral out of control and eventually crash. I'd recommend starting with disabling mods and see how things run. Turn them back on, one at a time.
Can you try switching to the Experimental branch in Steam and see if that fixes your issue? (Make sure your game says version 1.8.0.2 in the About page in the main menu). @CRJ900Pilot
@Minecraftpoweer @Avro683Lancaster @Redflask0416 Can you try switching to the Experimental branch in Steam and see if that fixes your issue? (Make sure your game says version 1.8.0.2 in the About page in the main menu).
@Spacedoge12345plane @GeneralOliverVonBismarck Thanks for testing. We're not sure when the stable version is coming exactly, but best case scenario would be mid-March.
@SpicyViper @GeneralOliverVonBismarck @GeneralOliverVonBismarck @MrAspy @Spacedoge12345plane @SubordinateCookies iOS beta is now available. Get it here. Remember, this is a beta! So don't get it unless you are comfortable with losing your planes/in-game settings/etc.
@freedompilot98 Thanks for the video, that's very helpful. It looks like your saved locations might have been messed up and are making you spawn at very high altitudes, which causes physics issues. Did you run the first beta (v1.8.0.0)? If so, I wonder if that corrupted your saved locations.
@jamesPLANESii I looked into the issue and it appears to be related Unity upgrading their physics engine from PhysX 3.3.1 to 3.4.2. This particular case doesn't look too troubling since it only happens when the door is colliding with the fuselage, but if you see any more problems like this, please let me know.
@MrSilverWolf @EternalDarkness Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad to hear there's a small performance improvement. @NathanMikeska do you think the black lines could be related to the reverse z-buffer changes in Unity?
@DuckMint @Gestour That's a fair question. If we don't keep Unity up to date our apps start rotting. Platforms start to push new requirements on developers and if we aren't using the latest stuff we run the risk of being forced to update Unity at a non-ideal time. SimplePlanes is becoming increasingly difficult to update on iOS with 5.3.6. Early last year when the iPhone X came out I had to update SP to work with the rounded corners but Unity 5.3.6 didn't have support for that so I ended up spending 10x longer hacking together a solution just to get by. The beginning of an update cycle is the ideal time to upgrade Unity since we will have more time to react to potential issues. I am sorry for the inconvenience for mod developers, but it's the nature of software development. Hopefully, your mods will work fine with Unity 2018.3. What issues are you having with building for Android, @Gestour?
The problem with exporting models from SimplePlanes is that it includes the copyrighted part models that were made by the artists that have worked on SimplePlanes. We don't mind if you use them in a non-commercial product with proper attribution to the original airplane author and indicate that it came from SimplePlanes. If you have a commercial product in mind then things are more complicated.
@WeSeekANARCHY @Jacobdaniel @Lahoski107 Sorry guys, we've been really busy with SR2. Maybe when we start the SP 1.8 update we can get a new tournament going.
@CoolPeach This should be fixed tonight when we reboot our servers. Sorry for the inconvenience. Funny thing is this is completely unrelated to the other issues we are having on the website today.
Can you upload the craft that demonstrates the rotator bug.
Thanks for the video. That helps clarify the issue.
+1@Spacedoge12345plane Are you sure you're not just really bad at it? :D
Were you unable to hit helicopters or airplanes or both? I was able to take down the choppers.
+1@jamesPLANESii My goodness 6 decimal places isn't enough? That's down to micrometers!

It's been a while since I spotlighted something. Just making sure it still works!
@bjac0 No worries. Thanks for helping us test!
What mods are you using?
It is done :)
+4@enzoBoeing757 If you disable all mods, does it work?
@enzoBoeing757 Are you using any mods? What device and operating system are you using?
Thanks for letting us know. Are your aircraft reflections set to None? This is how it works in 1.7 as well.
@ForeverPie Thanks for the log file. You are getting several error messages, which can really slow the game down and very likely cause the game to spiral out of control and eventually crash. I'd recommend starting with disabling mods and see how things run. Turn them back on, one at a time.
@Awsomur Log file on Mac is located here:
~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log
Can you send us your log file the next time it crashes? You can find it here (assuming Windows):

@Winstonlharambe Are you using mods? If so, try disabling mods and see if that improves performance.

+1@SwerHlls48 What mods are you running? I can't reproduce that issue, the plane is working fine for me.
@Avro683Lancaster Are you using any mods? Can you check periodically if you are getting any errors in the console? Tilde (~) key opens the console.
@Spacedoge12345plane @GeneralOliverVonBismarck Thanks for testing. We're not sure when the stable version is coming exactly, but best case scenario would be mid-March.
+1@Spectre2520 I agree! This is the lamest beta ever! But, also really important.

@Vidal99977 Do you have a link to the craft for the bug report you submitted?
@HTPE @deadshott We can't support mods on iOS as that's against Apple's terms of use.

+7@TheMutePaper is the game paused? The camera is currently not working while paused.
@s5ehfr9 If you are only using fuselage parts and blocks I suppose that would be okay. Are you making a commercial game?
