A tip from me: When uploading custom thumbnails, collage your plane pictures(up to 3 pictures or more) then pan through the pictures and take a shot one by one.

Well, base your fictional design to a real airplane e.g ww2 plane. As well, match its performance to a real plane like matching wing area, speed, loadouts, etc.

@Hawker180hurricane yes, I've tested it in several planes. BF-109, IL-2, Yak-9 it would be difficult if AI starts to steer. Also, enable the aircraft collisions on the wheels of your aircraft you want to land on any AI carrier
