@LjSpike It's about on par with Lightning, which is currently the most maneuverable racer. They're all around the same speed, so it's about the same as all the rest in that area.
Had a little trouble controlling it while pitching and rolling stimulants. I adjusted the elevator so it's just a tiny bit smaller and it fixed it with no loss to pitch control. Overall this is a great plane to add to the lineup. Love the backstory too.
@LjSpike Balancing will be a big issue. One of the biggest problems with building stable VTOLs is balance. Unless you plan on this thing really hugging the ground, it's going to be tough balancing it for hovering and vertical momentum.
Not bad. The control surfaces need some tweaking as it's not very responsive to control input, but other than that, it's a solid plane. Great use of those sea-plane parts!
Just design alone would earn this plane 5 stars. It looks incredible. However, I docked you the one star because you claimed to be as close to original specs as possible. While I understand that the plane was never completed or flown, it was designed in 1939, and no prop powered plane at that time (or even now, for that matter) could reach speeds in excess of 700mph. If it flew at a more realistic speed, I'd give it 5 stars easy.
@WaterAirLand Did you make sure to enable it on the main menu?
Nice to see people are still using my floats.
Very well done!
@LjSpike Might be able to. For my Race Plane Challenge I was just going to use the Paradise Air Race course as the qualifier.

@LjSpike That would be pretty awesome, actually.
@kikasshes I have been considering doing a race-plane challenge...
@jheffernan Thank you :D
@VikDesigns Sure.

@AgDynamics Thanks. I love writing fluff text :D

@UnknownVectors Yeah, gotta throttle to about 40%. Once you hit around 120+ you can throttle up to full and pull away from the runway.
Looks like Kikasshes beat me to it. Great looking plane. Just needs some back-story :D
Good fix!
@CanofBeans sort of. I placed the engine at the end of the tail and edited is physical location in the .xml file.
@kikasshes That would be pretty sweet.
When's the due date for this?
Looks sick! I love futuristic tanks!

@LjSpike Um... if you mean, like, modding new parts into the game, I don't know anything about that... o_O
@FlOu Thanks :D
Nicely done.
@JoeAdkinson13 Thanks!
@Delphinus @Authros Thanks! Glad you like it.
@Garuda1 thinking about it.
Hmm
Well done! Just my opinion, but it looks very Russian :D
Pretty cool. Must be an early model F-86. The later models had a flying tail configuration.
Very well designed sail plane.
Completely insane!
Looks great, but barely flies.
@WeeBabySeamus Thanks. It's as close to perfect as I can get, I think.
Wait a second... is that my P-38 in the splash image on the front cover!? :O
@IceDragon416 Thanks :D
Great stuff! I think this is a HUGE step in the right direction :D
Pretty spiffy. Why are the ailerons so far from the wingtips? Was the JU-88 designed that way IRL?
@Rohan Sweet! Count me in.
What's the due date for this competition?

@Superdude to get them that thin? You have to modify the XML file. I also had to clip regular wings inside them so it would actually have lift.
@Superdude fuselage parts
@KingDeadShot @RevolutionaryElite this is pretty good, but have you seen mine?
Interesting...
@goboygo1 Nah. It's just an old gamer tag I've used for years.
@XVIindustries hmm. I might. But I've never really done that kind of detail before.
@XVIindustries Yeah. I know it.
@JacobHardy64 I'll have to make a trip to Chino next time I'm in Cali and check out that museum :D
@JacobHardy64 Ah, so they did get it flying again. That's good to know. She's a really remarkable plane!
