@Bellcat these are all minor details. My idea is a good concept (I think) but as you have pointed out, there are a lot of stumbling blocks between thinking of and actually implementing it.

@Bellcat I'm thinking it would be more of a one-time deal, sort of like when you verify your email. I think it would be a little annoying not being able to post without owning the game, but it would hopefully obliterate the bots from our site.
@Mustang51 usually just advertisements for online games, and stuff like that. There was a period of time where bots kept posting links in the forums that were capable of taking over the accounts of existing users. Obvious security threat, and just plain annoying.
@XandyCandy go ahead. If you want to make it a successor you can, but you don't have to. Feel free to take this one apart to see how it works, or just take things from it and save them as subassemblies.

Yeah, I mostly listen to rock music. Here's my playlist, if you want to check it out. Lately I've also been getting a little bit into Flobots and Linkin Park. (that playlist doesn't have a ton of variety, but it is something I can just pick up and shuffle when I'm not in the mood to look up songs for 15 minutes)
If something costs $1.99, how the heck am I gonna pay 99 cents with my smallest increment being $0.05? It doesn't work, for example some states have a 6% sales tax which means if you buy something for a dollar, you have to pay 6 cents. Without pennies that's gonna be a problem. Unless we just ditch paper currency and switch to debit and crypto.
Also with the rounding thing, that's kind of a cultural matter. Americans don't like paying more than the price tag says.
You could install Lubuntu or something to get better performance on your laptop. It wouldn't run SP or JNO, but you could get a word processor and a web browser.
Put some hinge rotators in there and go into the inputController tab of the Overload menu. Change their input from VTOL to Activate1 and you can tune their range of motion and such. If you want to post it as unlisted I would be glad to help you get it to work.
