    1. Got about 200 on Steam and I'd estimate in between 300-500 on iOS.
    2. They're all pretty well-made, I don't really care honestly
    3. Very subjective because at the highest level it really comes down to creativity, but my personal pick would be spefyjerbf.
    4. Idk there are some extremely high part count ships out there.
    5. Could go either way, I know I would play SP2 if it came out.
    6. In the modern generation I'd rather have a PlayStation. PC is really the best though, and every single xbox game can be played on Windows, so there's no reason to get an xbox assuming money is not a large concern.

  • Building with Blender? 2.0 years ago

I was gonna say something, but planeflightx, beasthunter and huskydynamics pretty much summed it up. A lot of the stuff on the site looks inhumanly detailed but I guarantee that with good blueprints, reference photos, and a couple thousand hours of practice, you too can make some of the high-part creations that builders are putting out. Really, once you understand the basics of fuselage and maybe a bit of funky trees (SP's built-in programming language) you can start making pretty good builds with only a few hours of learning time. To be honest, this game was designed as a game where you could just snap blocks together and make stuff fly, but these days even the developers are being surprised at the level of detail people are putting into their creations.

@Graingy you’re not wrong. Very few Windows UX designs have aged well.

  • Jundroo Updates 2.0 years ago

@Graingy well that is true but keep in mind it did come out in 2015, so the game definitely doesn't look good by today's standards, but it was fine for back then. Especially with UI design and stuff, J:NO's is a bit of a visual atrocity, while KSP is pretty much just Windows 7 nostalgia.

    +2
  • Jundroo Updates 2.0 years ago

@Graingy I would say overall, KSP feels a bit more finished and polished albeit old and outdated, while J:NO's graphics and overall design are better but a bit rough around the edges.

  • Jundroo Updates 2.0 years ago

    @Graingy yeah it was a typo, I meant J:NO

  • Jundroo Updates 2.0 years ago

@Graingy yeah Juno has a whole career mode with tech tree paths for both space exploration and in-atmosphere stuff like cars and planes. The controls are way better, you have the option to line up exactly the heading you want to go to and your rocket will do it, unlike in KSP where tapping the "W" button once will send you into a death spin that will do irreparable damage to your pilot. In KSP yeah the rockets are rigid, which I don't personally care about but it could be nice for some people I guess.

@Graingy and J:NO is actually better than ksp imo

  • Flyout on Day 1: Is it the next SimplePlanes? 2.0 years ago

@Randomplayer Surprisingly, it doesn't really have any crash physics. Here's some raw uncut footage of me flying a plane around, if you skip to the end you'll notice that when I crash into the ground nothing really happens. I imagine if FO had soft body physics, it would start being less of a rival to SimplePlanes and more of a rival to BeamNG, but with planes instead of cars. As of right now, though, the crash physics in SimplePlanes are actually better.

@Aviator720 buddy I'm not sure you know the definition of the word “propaganda“. It means biased or misleading information with the goal of pushing a certain standpoint. Sort of like that comment you just posted on here. Also, I don't appreciate you calling me irresponsible just because you disagree with my video.

  • Flyout on Day 1: Is it the next SimplePlanes? 2.0 years ago

@Majakalona assuming you have the lowest end model (you may or may not, this is just what I'm using for my assessment), your laptop probably can run it. You probably won't have as much designer lag as me, and you can almost definitely have better graphics in the free fly mode. If you buy it on Steam, you can refund it later if it doesn't work on your device as long as you have spent under 2 hours in game.

  • Flyout on Day 1: Is it the next SimplePlanes? 2.0 years ago

@Majakalona yeah the price difference is about $7 USD. I have no clue how well Roblox functions as a PC benchmark, but flyout seems to be more related to the GPU, which basically means that the lag is caused by the graphics. So while my CPU wasn't working too hard, my GPU was maxed out.

  • Flyout on Day 1: Is it the next SimplePlanes? 2.0 years ago

Thanks for watching my video! I'm excited to see where Flyout and SimplePlanes lead in the future. There are some things I didn't cover in the video, such as the overall building experience in each game, but suffice it to say Flyout does have some very advanced features, such as cross-section fuselage editing. Don't worry though, I won't be leaving SP any time soon, but once I upgrade my hardware I might start playing Flyout on a regular basis.

If you enjoyed this video, please consider subscribing. Getting more subscribers would expand my outreach and would help motivate me to create more related content on YouTube. Thanks!

So if you go to the blueprints menu and choose a photo from your device you can include the blueprint in your screenshot. So take the screenshot on your device then use it as a blueprint.
