@Mage2IsTriggered that’s really strange, I haven’t witnessed that. Are you on the latest version of SP?
Also, could you attach a screenshot so I can take a look?
@daniboi99 use this aircraft. Start at Wright island and turn so that your heading is 0. Set the game to fast forward and use AG4 to put the Droplet in turbo mode. Throttle up and wait about 20 seconds and you will be at snowstone.
@32 the post. There's an old game where you can put a hamster in a microwave. It's called something like Mad Manshion, but I can't remember.
Edit: whoops replied to myself
So I think I'll explain how this works for somebody who might be wondering. So first of all, this is only three parts: a 1000 blade propeller, a base, and a cockpit. The only functional thing on here is a propeller. The funky trees code is just a line that makes the rotor pitch go back and forth, and this is where the movement of the illusion comes from.
You may be familiar with the xml attribute chordScale, this increases the distance from the leading edge to the trailing edge of the blade, which at small numbers simply means it makes the propeller blades wider. On this thing though, the chord scale is turned up insanely high, which does some really trippy stuff even if you have a prop with only a few blades. In addition, the blade thickness is turned way up which certainly makes it look even stranger. (edit: chord scale is jsut the xml value for thickness, I didn't notice that)
So in conclusion, this utilizes some really strange and buggy stuff in the game to create a really interesting illusion, which is probably what you thought was going on the whole time lol
So fair warning, my FT skills are a bit basic, and I'm sure there's a more efficient way to do this, but my method worked during my testing.
You can create a variable and call it something so you can remember what it does. Maybe something like rotatorControl or something like that. Set its expression to rotatorControl+[INPUT] with the input being whatever input you want your oars to be. What this does is say that rotatorControl will stay at the same value unless you add to it via your input. Then you can set the input to your oar to rotatorControl and it should work. The only problem here is that it probably won't stop immediately. You can change that by dividing the input by something that works for you. I think dividing it by 90 should work.
I know funky trees can be confusing, so if this didn't make any sense, I made a little proof of concept you can find here . If you have any questions let me know, I know I probably could have done a better job explaining that.
@Transair56 I have messed around with airliners and as it turns out I just suck at making them lol
They're a lot of parts and no matter what airliner I make, someone has made a better version of it than me.

@Mage2IsTriggered ohhh that’s very interesting. I wouldn’t have thought that would make a difference. I’ll put that in a pinned comment.

@N0ble one of Gestour’s mod posts
@Majakalona yup! I was planning on making this but you beat me to it.
+4@Majakalona ah that makes sense.
+4My platinum special is going to be a plane based on my avatar, I'll probably link to here when I post it.
I really like it!
+4You're welcome to post it if you want
Looks vaguely familiar
+5So if it's a younger brother, just act like he's not bothering you and he'll probably stop. If it's an older brother, there's not much you can do.
Looks good!
@All nice I might check it out
It's nice to ask them first, but whether you do or not, say something like “engine is from @user“. Tagging them on it doesn't hurt either.
@All pretty sick, what game's it in?
@All I do not, sorry
2007 dodge durango. You're welcome.
+1I think the sky is set to sometime in 2009 but I could be totally wrong
+1Edit: no it's june 15th, 2000

@FalHartIndustries the part where she launches chaff + some random headline lol
+1@Atrocitum oh that's interesting. I gotta say I'm interested to see how that turns out.
why the heck does that civilian plane have chaff lol
+1like, who do they think they are, Fed-Ex?
@DDVC yeah that's probably way better than what I said
+1@Atrocitum nah that's ok, you could also probably just pin the comment if you want
@Pan daily uploads does that lol
+1this is a reference to some really old point-and-click video game I've forgotten the name of.
+1Is it Mad Mansion?
This is driving me crazy

Hmm. Might be worth investigating to see if this glitch can be replicated consistently. Could open up quite a few possibilities.
That F-89's livery is absolutely beautiful.
+1@V oh no it would only be a few thousand at the most. I'm not going to try and top the Yamato...
Yet.

@Gahaka it's out already, you're welcome to check it out!
You could probably just google the real size then if you uncheck “scale selected part only” you can scale the whole plane easily.
Are they all unique or is it possible for there to be identical ones?
+1Ohhh that's crazy
+1interesting.
the wifi signal bar doohickey just tells you how good your connection to your router is, not how good the wifi itself is. It might just suck lol

Least discouraging thing I can think of
+1No way
T
@LunchBox That is good reasoning, after all it does feel good to drive, so although it's not realistic it is still quite good.
+1Spoilers Please
And tag @ToeTips on them lol
