RJ Industries CR70 Fleet escort

So I thought it was time to take RJ into the space age and where better than the Star Wars enviroment?

So here we have a fleet escort, designed to handle medium sized fighters / interceptors with 4 fixed large laser cannon it packs a punch (sorry Tiny) and 4 smaller nose mounted variable pitch lasers it can dish out quite a bit of damage.

Later used by the rebels for spy insertion, covert ops and smuggling (second fastest ship in the galaxy =) ). AG1 to shut access door, AG2 to enable VTOL takeoff (throttle and VTOL work), AG3 to engage orbital engines, and if you mad, AG4 to go to hyperspeed (or about 3000mph anyway)

Ramp down on load in:
1

Ramp retracted and door shut:
2

We have VTOL lift off:
3

Landing gear retracted
4

Thrusters engaged
5

Bye bye Hoth (or Avalanche base at least)

@RamboJutter I’m also very confused as to why this has so few upvotes. I really thought it would be one of your best. This is a build I would normally spotlight but as you know, it’s a little impossible for me to do that hahaha

@Tang0five well i went to the trouble of making 1 R2 unit, the ships big, 2 R2s make sense =) Probably increased the part count by 200 just by R2 units.

@Mustang51 thanks =) I enjoyed building this, opposite of making things as streamlined as possible lol. Pity it seems to be one of my lowest upvoted builds though....

Amazing concept, one I wouldn't think would look good if it was just explained, but seeing it, it really does!

Well this is a very unexpected build from you but I am very glad you went down this route! It looks fantastic and I can’t wait to see more like it!
