Yes, I know it's confusing. Just try to understand it.

VTOL = hover thrust / Flaps control .
VTOL > 0 = Activate gyro and adjust hover thrust .
VTOL < 0 = Flaps control .
other = standard .

Flight modes :

1-st mode(hover)
conditions (throttle=0, VTOL > 0)
,,helicopter," control. Used for VTOL and hover attacks. The gyroscope is active.

2-nd mode(related)
conditions (throttle>0, VTOL > 0)
Controls like any plane with a gyroscope. Used for accurate but fast movement and attack a convoy of enemies. The gyroscope is active. (For a faster turn, it is necessary to tilt both joysticks.)

3-rd mode(plane)
conditions (throttle>0, VTOL <= 0)
standard airplane flight control . Used for the fastest possible movement and attacks on aerial targets. You can land the machine like a normal airplane.

Takeoff and landing .

VTOL :
Takeoff :

  1. Raise the VTOL slider to approximately +3/4 (not -3/4) . This is approximately the neutral position.

  2. Then adjust the slider until you get off the ground. Note that the thrust will decrease slightly after getting off the ground.

  3. gain altitude.

Landing :

  1. extinguish the horizontal and vertical speed over the landing pad .

  2. by controlling the speed reduce your altitude.

  3. Decrease the thrust of the hover motors gently and as soon as you touch the ground sharply turn them off. A hard landing may cause the airplane to roll somewhere. Use the wheel brakes.

Plane :
Takeoff :

  1. lower the VTOL slider to -1/2 . This will lower the flaps to the takeoff position.

  2. Increase throttle to 100%.

  3. After reaching a speed of about 170 km/h, pull back.

  4. After pulling off, gain altitude.

Landing :

  1. Land at the right angles. Keep the throttle at approximately 24% . If necessary, adjust flaps.

  2. When approaching the runway, throttle down to zero. But do not engage the air brakes yet.

  3. Adjust the flaps down to within a few meters of the ground. Using the air brake release 20 km/h of speed. Try to keep the plane horizontal.

  4. After touchdown, use the brakes and partially release the flaps.

Remember !!! in case of a difficult landing you can switch to VTOL mode . Do not take any risks.
