So, this challenge is closed. And if anyone is interested, here are some thoughts on a few of the participating aircraft:
Verronara Verra T-3 by KorKaiorWhatever: An interesting concept using a computer instead of an instructor.
T-45 Goshawk by Aero72: A pretty decent replica, but it's a shame there's no cockpit.
T-77 "WonderJet" by Unwanted: Just a good and, in my opinion, realistic trainer aircraft.
VG-12T Annihilator by SCtheONE: The situation is similar, but without an interior.
IF-50 T by hopotumon: Looks like a hybrid of the F-117 and the MiG-37 (the Ferret).
(Yeah, I just put two smol Ozoi next to each other. Why not?)
Greetings, my dearest dears, to another episode of our wonderful TV show series, “The YuYsukablyat Schizophrenia is Progressing”! Anyway, I’ve decided to launch something like a challenge every month now. Although, of course, it’s not entirely correct to call it that, at least for the reason that it’s not a competition. As I said in the first “challenge” – I just want to give people an idea for building something. Again, there won’t be any evaluation as such; I’ll just give all participants some upvotes, 5-6 of them, as a token of gratitude for their participation.
So, let’s get down to business. This time, the theme will be the creation of a simple combat training jet aircraft. You know, something like the rather old Yak-130, or similar aircraft. In principle, you could also take the T-7A Redhawk as an example. It doesn’t really matter. The main requirements, I think, are generally logical – a two-seater cockpit is a must, ease of control (after all, it’s primarily a training aircraft, and even though there will be an instructor sitting next to the cadet, that doesn’t allow it to be jerky and prone to freaking out at the slightest wrong move), and optionally, simplicity of design. Plus, the ability to perform combat missions (like achieving air superiority, or strike missions) is desirable but not mandatory. In general, that’s all, I think. Well, good luck, and all that. That’s it, you’re welcome to leave, go and create, my fellow ward-mates.
(Don’t worry, a new plane from BAI will be coming soon)
