With the Mk 5 Neygi fighter showing good speed and ability to reach high altitudes, it was almost inevitable that a reconnaissance variant would be requested. This was fairly easy for GeekPride Fabrications to produce. The engine and primary wings remained the same, though the wings had smaller control surfaces fitted to make the handling less twitchy and more stable. The observer's pod and camera were fitted into the fuselage with some minor rearrangement of the internal structure, no major redesign was necessary. The cockpit also has more glass and an emphasis on visibility, allowing the pilot to act as a secondary observer. The tail unit has been changed from the standard, though - the horizontal stabilisers now have dihedral instead of being flat, they've been slightly extended and vertical staibilisers have been added. The main vertical stabiliser has also been increased in size. All together, these make for a much more stable and settled aircraft, capable of reaching 60000 feet. This is so high that interception is unlikely, so guns have not been fitted. If any enemy fighters try to engage, this can see them coming and make a quick escape.
