Panhard VBL Amphibious Armored Vehicle

Panhard VBL (Véhicule Blindé Léger, "light armored vehicle") is a light armored car built by French manufacturer Panhard since 1985.

Features:
- Amphibious ability.
- airdrop friendly
- fully functional smoke grenade launcher
- working lights

Activation Groups:
AG1: headlights
AG2: parachutes for airdrop
AG3: Gyro (to keep the vehicle stable, suggest keep turned on except when being airdropped and when climbing very steep slopes)
AG4: left blinker
AG5: right blinker
AG7: water propulsion on/off
AG8: wheel propulsion on/off
Launch Countermeasures: Smoke grenade launcher (suggest not exceed 10 launches at a time, it's actually a flare launcher but close enough)

Caution:
1. even with gyro, do not exceed 100 km/h (60mph) unless on perfectly flat ground
2. when being airdropped, turn off gyro during the descent, but turn on after first contact with ground.
3. if you added some stuff to it (turret or something), you may need to increase some buoyancy to keep the propeller working. It is currently near its depth threshold.

Troubleshooting:
1. Unable to start propeller after entering water, car constantly bobbing up and down
Turn off gyro, start propeller first then turn on gyro again
2. turning causes propeller to lose speed
Press and release (don't hold down yaw control) or just reduce the angle of motion for the rotater for the propeller engine to 25 degrees.

(UPDATE) I just learned that you can make this thing able to reverse by assigning the engine input to something with a negative input like "VTOL". I'm still looking for a way to make a reverse light though.

Also, if constantly yawing right (due to asymmetric and thus uneven weight distribution) is a problem for you, you can adjust dead weight for some of the decorative blocks to more or less balance it.

I just drove from Yeager to Bandit (the hard way, going through numerous islands west of Yeager), including driving through the largest island (and the only one with a good landing site on both end), the field-crossing ability for this motor should be good enough.

No mod-specific parts used so this should be mobile (particularly iOS) friendly.

@M4FL10 I think you can mount any kind of turret on it.... I'm currently working on my next project slowly so I might not have time for remakes.

@vcharng do you think you could make a version with the 20mm?

@WarHawk95 No, check my other posts, I'm Taiwanese (that's why so many Chinese Nationalist planes).

The VBL with 20mm Rh202 autocannon was my favorite in Armored Warfare before they removed it (replaced with VBL Ingwe which sucks), that's why.

@Deadly8Nightshade hmm... you sure you turned it on? the Gyro is located in the upper rear of the cabin, pretty much where the 3rd crew member would be (could be a radio operator or a gunner) ,you can take a look and see if the settings are correct. It's almost factory settings though lol.

@vcharng Gyro didn't worked here... lol anyway.
Me experienced? If you're talking about points, mind that I was at the right place at the right time, that's all. With this kind of upload you clearly should have more points than me that's for sure.
I can't wait to see your next uploads btw.

@Deadly8Nightshade It has shocks (well, more precisely, shock function in the resizable wheel) and it definitely has a gyro, activate AG3 to turn it on. I thought about making it on at all times but it causes trouble on high-angle hill climbing.
The gyro was originally used to make the car float horizontally in water (because I can't balance it good enough), but I later found out it worked even better on keeping the car stable when driving on dry land)
I tried adjusting the built-in shocks of the resizable wheels a lot, but none of those worked better than the gyro.

I thought about smaller lower plates (in fact, smaller lower hull), but that's the part responsible for most of the buoyancy... (and for containing the engine) If I lose that part of buoyancy the propeller would be too deep and I didn't find a way to make the propeller work at such a depth.

Go ahead and upgrade it, it sounds interesting to see my own creation to be enhanced by someone else, especially someone far more experienced than myself like you.
