Canard Version

I built a Canard version of Rambojutter's airplane because I wanted to and in my SP Universe, Canard's Rule!

Almost everything is the same, with changes/additions in RED.

From the original build:
The BV-225 Friedensstifter (Peacemaker/Pacifier) came about after a directive to Blohm und Voss for a high altitude, high speed, long range bomber. Due to these requirements it was decided defensive armament was not required (similar to the Ju 86P philosophy).

Crew: 3 - 1 Pilot, 1 navigator/bomb aimer/assistant pilot, 1 flight engineer Length: 50ft Wingspan: 73ft Powerplant: 4x Junkers Jumo 207C 6-cyl. liquid-cooled opposed piston 2-stroke diesel engines Propellers: 3-bladed, variable pitch Armament: 4 SC1000 bombs

This build has lots of moving bits, more than I usually do for WWII stuff:

AG1-4 = each engine start (linked to the individual RPM dials and ignition switches in the engineers area)
AG5 = Landing Gear doors
AG6 = Bomb arm and bomb doors open/shut
VTOL DN = flaps
LG = Landing gear retract/extend
TRIM = elevator trim

Cockpit has working; control column, rudder pedals, throttles, trims, flap selector, gear up indicators, altitude gauge, IAS gauge, main hydraulic pressure indicator (well it moves anyway), and a fuel gauge. Engineers area has RPM and oil pressure gauges for each engine along with switches for each engine.

I have fueled it for a bomb run from Wright Airport to Snowstone and return, if this isnt long enough for you the main fuel tanks are in the leading edge of the wings (currently about 30% fuel each).

Thing's I did

Added Orange Lights (4) to indicate Oil Pressure using Funky Trees, a Red Light (blinking) to show less than 25% fuel remaining, and a Red Light (solid) for Fuel Empty.

I re-positioned the Rear Main LGand their doors, added shocks to the outriggers, copied and re-positioned the Twin Ruddersand changed the rear end of the fuselage as well as moving some of the I.D. marking's forward.

oh, I almost forgot

CANARD WINGS!

    I take off with just Flaps and Trim, and a shallow approach around 200 IAS with flaps for landing.
