(alt. history)

The Megaton AAC (Airborne Aircraft Carrier) Mk.I was a prototype airborne aircraft carrier. The idea was, that it would take off, and carry on its' back at least three F-4 Phantom or MiG-23 jets or four F-5 Tiger or F-104 Starfighters, and the aircraft would make the long journey to the target destination, where it would release the fighters. The project was scrapped, however, due to the advent of aerial refueling making the project obsolete.
