Aircraft Insignia and Roundels

These are the insignia of three air arms present in the War of Nations. The furthest left is variants fo the Hellenic Air Force insignia, appearing on different units. The lower one with a white cross is the more popular one, while the upper roundel is slighly less popular. The center-left insignia are variants of the Olympian Air Force insignia, consisting of a red Spartan lambda. The bottom one is the standard one, while the upper one is a low-visiblity variant. The light blue background is not part of the insignia, but is placed there to represent the most common backdrop for the insignia. To the right are variants of the Pilotmario Air Force insignia. The lower center-left insignia is the standard insignia, while the far-right insignia is virtually identical except for a black border. That variant is used on PAF naval aircraft in order to make it more distinctive, as navy aircraft are often painted dark blue. The upper right insignias are low-visibility variants of the below insignias. Feel free to use them, though as these are the insignias of air forces at war with each other. Putting it on your plane indicates the aircraft is of that nation, and will be treated accordingly. You have been warned.

@PINK There is always enough time to ensure allies don't shoot down your planes.

@PINK I see. We put a roundel so we know who's plane is who's, so we don't shoot down our own planes. Because blue-on-blue is costly and embarrasing.

The NDK just paints the planes in squad colors, there is no set roundelle
