Xanthus Gyro with True Hubless Wheel

Auto Credit Based on Viper3000ad's Xanthus

Original bike design and an awesome model of the rider by @Viper3000ad

I just modified it heavily and added the hubless wheel. The wheel is by me :).

Controls: Throttle + Roll. AG2 for lights.

Not for low physics. And take it easy on turns!

Improved version (the wheel should be more durable)

Feel free to use the wheel in your own designs.

How to:

Pull the wheel by the rim to detach from the bike. You'd want to save it as a sub-assembly.

It consists of some fuselage blocks, 4 pairs of resizable wheels, 4 pistons and a detacher. Pistons and detacher are bound to AG8 and I don't recommend changing that. What you can change is the size and traction of the resizable wheels, the speed seems to largely depend on these parameters. Be careful though not to exceed 20-25 mph because the wheel is pretty fragile and most likely will break. The whole thing also starts to tremble pretty badly. You can change the width of the fuselage blocks the tyre is made of.

To power the wheel bind bottom pair of resizable wheels to the car engine.

Hope it will be useful :)

@AWESOMENESS360 yeah, it does it too :). There's one thing I wanted to try but completely forgot about, maybe it could help a bit, but probably not. Also I have a similar prototype I actually started with, you can see that it uses some sort of limiters on the sides of the wheel. I think those could be of use here, but I didn't want to bloat the construction. It already works better than I thought it would.

@iwannabeelected sometimes, the tire would fall out of the wheel itself, you can repair it though by letting it fall back into place.

@AWESOMENESS360 it also start to tremble pretty badly on anything above 23-25 mph

@AWESOMENESS360 yep, that's what I meant. Unfortunately the game's engine can't handle fuselage blocks spinning that fast and it just starts to crumble.

@iwannabeelected I actually noticed that if it goes any faster than 35mph, the wheel starts to fall off and the vehicle becomes uncontrollable, so it's probably for the best that it stays at the speed it can go now, lol.
