Background

The GPTV-20 (General Purpose Tracked Vehicle) is a multi-purpose tracked military vehicle developed by the Mizuhara Ground Forces during the Fourth Neorasia Civil War. Designed as a highly adaptable platform, the GPTV-20 has a combat weight of approximately 20 tonnes and is intended to fulfill a wide range of battlefield and support roles.

Design and Capabilities

The GPTV-20 requires a minimum crew of two personnel for basic operation, with crew size varying depending on the mission role and the weapon or equipment system installed. Its modular design allows the vehicle to be rapidly reconfigured for multiple purposes.

The platform is capable of mounting several major weapon systems, including:

• M161 Fubuki Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS)
• RH-250 Sasori self-propelled artillery system
• RKH-35 Hunter air defense system

In addition to combat roles, the GPTV-20 can be configured for troop transport, logistical support, or fitted with trailers to tow fuel tanks, supplies, or other vehicles. The chassis can also be modified for specialized tasks such as armored recovery operations or mine-clearing duties.

Operational History

The GPTV-20 entered service with Mizuharan forces during the Fourth Neorasia Civil War, where its versatility proved valuable across a wide range of operational environments. Following the conclusion of the conflict, the vehicle remained in active service with the Mizuhara Federation Armed Forces.

The GPTV-20 was subsequently exported to several allied nations of Mizuhara. A number of vehicles were also transferred to the Kingdom of Stjerneland as part of debt repayments inherited by the Mizuhara Federation from the former Neorasia government.
