(fictional scenario) After the successful encirclement of kirsk by the german army they had the soviets on the run that was the second turning point in the east but the me 262 and the me 163 had trouble taking off on the the short dirt runways in Russia. This was because the dirt from the runway got into the air intake and over time made the engine explode. So the luftwaffe needed a new jet for the eastern theater. The answer was the Ta. 675 with the engines and intakes on the top of the plane instead of under the wings. This made it so that when the aircraft was taking off, much less dirt got into the engine's intake almost completely taking out the problem of engine implosion. but this design lead to bad flight charecteristics and was only used for 2 years or the rest of the eastern theater. (btw she looks pretty but cant fly for crap)
